(This is “Day 4” of Jane’s new program.

In this life Ruburt knew his neighborhood as a child, and his feelings about people were not tempered by television programs showing normal families, or other ways of life. [...]

[...] For example, some individuals do not undergo any such periods, but because of development and progress during their past lives, they are ready to begin more ambitious programs.

[...] They tried social programs, and found a curious sense of belonging with the disadvantaged, for they were also rootless. [...]

[...] You said that Benny Hill (the English comedian) advertises his beliefs in his program, and in the same way your notes in our books advertise your own beliefs, and provide an example of a creative and also reasonable framework in which to interpret psychic behavior. [...]

[...] Both the conscious and unconscious would operate far more effectively, however, under an abbreviated sleeping program, and for those involved in “creative” endeavors this kind of schedule would bring greater intuition and applied knowledge.

[...] I have told you that you are a novice in an exciting and exacting program and I have asked you to ponder the implications of this situation.

[...] He is programmed to give you that kind of information. [...]

Now, I will be glad to set up for you a definite program, geared to you specifically, toward the release and use of your psychic abilities whenever you are ready to take some session time to do so.

(I might add that today, Thursday, Jane experienced a dramatic further release in her neck and other areas of her body, so we are getting results with our program. [...]

(Today Jane has had a steady barrage of bodily sensations of incipient release and change—her most active and encouraging one so far, since we began our program on April 3, 1978. [...]

(This morning Jane and I embarked on a new program in an effort to track down the origin of her symptoms. [...]

They are meant to enkindle you, and program the self that you know in line with the purposes of the inner self. [...]

[...] Begin with your program. [...]

[...] And in a gathering of three people watching the same TV drama, say, each of them might be interpreting different portions of the program so that those portions correlate with their individual dreams of the night before, and serve to bring them their dream messages in ways they can accept….

[...] We want our nation to embark upon programs to cut, and eventually eliminate for all practical purposes, its continually growing dependence upon foreign oil, for we see great risks in an overreliance upon that course of action; we think those hazards should be obvious to everyone since the oil embargo declared against us in 1973 by the countries of the Middle East. That possibility is indeed written in the scientific program. [...]

3. Jane said to the program director who called her: “I’m sorry, but I can’t be on your show, I feel very strongly that I should be right here in Elmira these days.” [...]

[...] Yet such uncreative attitudes have often, now, hampered you in that direction of Ruburt’s condition, so that you programmed yourselves to expect disappointment.
