Information flows through the universe at such a rate and in such quantities that you could not possibly process any but a small portion of it.

No amount of intellectual information, no accumulation of facts however vast, could give you the inner knowledge necessary to accomplish the physical events involved in that growth process. [...]

One remark, I did not mean to imply that I had any hand at all in the healing process to which I referred earlier. [...] I am aware of them, and I am pleased that the process has begun. As Ruburt tries more physical activity even in the house, the creative abilities will automatically trigger certain processes so that he finds himself mentally concerned for example with what he will cook, or what cupboard he will wash, or whatever. [...]

[...] These issues and processes then act as excellent feedback, and reverse the negative habits that before operated.

[...] It does not mean that you must meditate for hours, or study your own thought processes with such vigor that you ignore other activities. It simply means that you are aware of your own life as clearly as possible — in touch with your thought processes, aware of them but without overdue concern or overanalysis. [...]

The move, however, served to highlight some of those beliefs, so that Ruburt could see that he could not afford to carry the process any further.

[...] He has also however reinforced your conventional beliefs that muscles and joints must behave thus-and-so, that so much time must pass for such processes to take place; he helped you set up a situation that served handily, for you could not leave Framework 1, nor yet really accept wholeheartedly Framework 2.

[...] Follow my suggestions, and know that the necessary work is being done completely outside of physical time, so that improvements can occur of a significant nature without any particular conventional expected processes that must first occur.

Once again, it is most important that Ruburt keep his goals in mind, and remember that despite any given mood the healing process continues. [...]

There is immediate response in Framework 1, though it may not be apparent because the conscious mind is not always equipped to recognize significances that are outside its usual context.

[...] Little of this shows, although he is aware of the sensations, which are signs of the healing processes.

First of all, if you realize that the intellect itself is a part of nature, a part of the natural person, a part of magical processes, then you need not overstrain it, force it to feel isolated, or put it in a position in which paranoid tendencies develop. It is itself supported, as your intuitions are, by life’s magical processes. [...]

If you try to get a feeling for the vast sweep apparent in your own private associative processes, you might perhaps gain a slight glimpse of the interworkings that occur when those associations mix and merge with the associations of other individuals. [...]
