I told you many sessions ago that the most healthy conditions could be achieved for the human organism if the body when sleeping lay in a north-south position, and I repeat this remark now.

(During the 68th session Seth stated that eventually, as Jane’s abilities grow, it should be possible for him to speak to us from different locations in the room, independent of Jane’s position, and that it might also develop that he could speak to us from his own apparition. [...]

It recognizes its position as a part of the whole self. [...]

Many parents find it difficult to express love verbally in a positive, open, unabashed manner. [...]

Part of this does have to do with beliefs concerning sex (as Jane wrote recently), in that he feels a woman’s position is basically less solid than the male’s to begin with. [...]

(9:53.) If you have any intuitive understanding as yet concerning the nature of the entity or whole self, you will see that it has placed you in a position in which certain abilities, insights, and experience can be realized, and in which your unique kind of consciousness can be nurtured. [...]

(Today is Day 3 of Jane’s new routine, following the session on February 1. She said she catches herself all the time getting off the track, then tries to remind herself of her new healthier goals — living in the moment, thinking positively, and so on.

[...] Then when she goes back on her back again to sleep, she’s in position for breakfast. [...]

[...] While I had myself in this state, I tried to give myself good, positive suggestions. [...]

[...] If it moved too fast I either held it back every few words until I had the message down, or wrote with one hand while keeping the other in position.

[...] (Still very positively:) The “self” that was born into the body, and grew with it, has gone, and another “self” has risen from that previous organization.

They also share other beliefs, for example: That the inner self is a repository for repressed fears, terrors, and uncivilized savagery; that the inner self must be forced to get rid of such material before it is possible for it to express its power, energy and strength in creative, positive terms; and that, therefore, the self must first encounter and deal with all those terrors of its past before it can be free of the fears of the present.

He starts fighting for position and authority, for which under ordinary circumstances he couldn’t care less. [...]

It might even help Ruburt to see the director when he was not in a position of authority that he felt honor bound to uphold. [...]
