“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

These points are not recognized as such, but they are points of what you could call double reality, containing great energy potential; coordinate points, indeed, where realities merge. There are main coordinate points, pure mathematically, sources of fantastic energy, and subordinate coordinate points, vast in number.

(9:50.) Now: A few clues here that might help you, or mathematicians. There is an ever-so-minute alteration of gravity forces in the neighborhood of all of these points, even of the subordinate ones, and all the so-called physical laws to some extent or another will be found to have a wavering effect in these neighborhoods. The subordinate points also serve in a way as supports, as structural intensifications within the unseen fabric of energy that forms all realities and manifestations. While they are traces or accumulations of pure energy, there is a great difference between the amount of energy available in the various subordinate points, and between the main and the absolute points.

These points impinge upon what you call time, as well as space. There are certain points in time and space, therefore, (again in your terms), that are more conducive than others, where both ideas and matter will be more highly charged. Practically speaking, this means that buildings will last longer; in your context, that ideas wedded to form will be relatively eternal. The pyramids, for example, are a case in point.

[...] There is, again, a wrinkling effect about these points, though not as yet observable to you, where space itself, it seems, yearns to disappear inside the first point. [...] (With gestures, eyes wide open): The activities of atoms and molecules quicken as they approach these points, but the distance between the atoms and molecules remains the same. [...]

The subordinate points permeate space. Ruburt will be able to tell you, for example, the nearest point in this room. Sometimes the angle will be longer, but the two lines will point in the right direction. [...]

These points have somewhat the same qualities. The electromagnetic aspects of thoughts and emotions, the animations, are drawn through points that can compare to miniature black holes. [...]

[...] In relationship to action, and moment points, the ego is indeed that portion of the self which stands at the apex of the moment point, and is limited by the moment point. The ego is in this context the portion of the self which is utterly focused upon, and imprisoned by, the moment point.

The whole self not only perceives these limitless moment points, but being a part of action, each whole self projects fragments and personalities from itself to all these points, creating therefore other egos, other intense focus points which are independent, which work out their own destinies and experiences, which in turn perceive any given moment point in slow motion.

[...] Each moment point is a field or dimension. You perceive certain very limited aspects of a given number of such moment points. The same moment points may simultaneously be experienced in an entirely different fashion, and to a different set of perceptions. These moment points would appear quite different than they appear to you.

(A note: My own hunch is that there’s a good connection between Seth’s reincarnational points of power, cellular memory, and the coordinate points he discusses in Chapter Five of Seth Speaks: “These coordinate points act as channels through which energy flows, and as warps or invisible paths from one reality to another. [...] These points impinge upon what you call time, as well as space….” [...]

[...] Imagine your future from the power point of the present. [...] In this period concentrate upon the fact that the point of power is now. [...]

In a way that will be explained in another book for those interested in such matters, there is a kind of coincidence with all of these present points of power that exist between you and your “reincarnational” selves. [...] There is a constant interaction in this multidimensional point of power, therefore, so that in your terms one incarnated self draws from all of the others what abilities it wants, according to its own specific, localized beliefs.

At this point of course the self moves beyond or through the particular midplane involved. The term itself merely applies to a reference point duration that has meaning only in so far as it is related to a specific personality that is in a transitional frame between dimensional actualities.

The personality itself therefore, as a mental action, is responsible for the point or midplane, for without the personality or mental act, this particular reference point or midplane would have no meaning.

[...] Action divides itself into various selves, and then explores the moment points of experience, for each new self is indeed a new action, an original act.

[...] You are at that point trying to shove beneath awareness certain feelings of yours, mentioned in our last session. You are, say, close to the point on noncontact. [...]

[...] When the point is reached of which I had just spoken, your objectivity comes foremost in your work at the expense of spontaneity. [...] This is in keeping you see with the fact that you felt more threatened than Ruburt at those boundary-near-contact points. [...]

[...] You were to keep you from getting too close, and when certain automatic points were approached you both went into your act. [...] You ran into the invisible danger points and reacted in the old ways.

Now: You must understand that your present is the point at which flesh and matter meet with the spirit. Therefore the present is your point of power in your current lifetime, as you think of it. [...]

[...] If you are lonely it is because you believe in your loneliness in this present point that you acknowledge as time. [...] You are also denying your own point of action within the present.

[...] For you, because of your neurological organization, the present is obviously the only point from which past and future can be changed, or when action becomes effected.

[...] You may intuitively grasp a point and intellectually not understand it, or the other way around. But Ruburt insists that he intellectually and intuitively understand each point, and agree with it, or it puts him in the position of publicizing ideas when he is not a hundred percent certain of their validity, and he considers this to some degree dishonest. [...] His symptoms at that point deepened. He greatly enjoys the psychic and intuitive experience itself, the going ahead, but he becomes worried after that point as to how the ideas will be used and interpreted.

He therefore feels highly upset if he does not accept all of my views as he understands them, and makes it a point to repeat that rebellion now in a different way.

This point is fairly important, for it shows how the personal associations are utilized up to a certain point, and then sometimes quite suddenly dispensed with, for they have served our purposes.

[...] I saved it because of its interesting color and shape, and the fact that its points were as sharp as ever. [...]

[...] In many cases this translation is done by the intervening psychological framework, which is simply the psychological point closest to the meeting of Ruburt’s personality and my own, for he does not fade out as a personality. [...]

[...] If you will recall our early sessions dealing with value fulfillment, let us now consider what I prefer to call a moment point. This moment point, as you know, refers to any given present instant. If you are thinking in terms of Dunne’s theories, then start out with this moment point as it is seen in time one by self one.

The ego can perceive only certain portions of any given moment point or present instant, and it sees the moment point indeed as if it were one of a series of lights that approaches the ego from one side, and passes him by on the other side. The ego perceives this moment point, then, very much as if it were a flat cardboard-like object which comes, is flashed before him, and disappears.

We start once more with our moment point. For now this moment point which appears within your physical universe is but a small materialization of larger portions of the spacious present. In the dreaming state, when the ego is released from its idea of time as a series of moments, then other portions of the self can travel through these moment points, and you have here a journey through depths that have nothing to do with your (underline your) concept of time or space.

These moment points, incidentally, serve as reference points often from one field of activity to another, as openings or entryways. Such a moment point has a peculiar molecular structure, that is a result of intensification of action, and basically has nothing to do with the moment point happening to coincide with what you call a physical moment.

[...] Therefore this whole self surrounds many more moment points simultaneously, using one moment point in particular as a reference or entry point.

[...] The subconscious, even the personal subconscious, is much freer from the moment point than is the ego, and it can inform the ego of important developments which can be of great help.

[...] However there is no rule, then, saying that the reincarnating personality must take over the new form prepared for it either at the point of conception, in the very earliest months of the fetus’s growth, or even at the point of birth.

[...] And while it may or may not choose to enter at that point, it is drawn irresistibly to that time and point in space and flesh.

(At this point, however, Seth requested that I lay my notebook aside for a bit, saying he regretted that I was kept so busy writing during sessions. [...]

Now there is a point within each of you, at this moment, in this room at this time, that is a connection with all of reality that you can ever know and this point is a point of feeling. Not of words, not of concepts, not of trial and error, but the point of existence within you that is now present and of which you are all aware. The point from which you run from morning until evening. The point of reality within you that you try to escape because you are afraid of reality and unwilling to accept the responsibilities of it and so you form pseudorealities. [...]

Now, this point is within you at this moment and each moment and it is a point of feeling and awareness. Consciousness poised between exquisite points of imbalance. [...]

[...] The self is as immediate as All That Is is immediate, and your quickest entry point is at the point of your present feelings and there is no other way, and the door to your feelings are open. [...]

THE CONCENTRATION OF ENERGY, BELIEFS, AND THE PRESENT POINT OF POWER

[...] You can cure yourself of an “incurable” disease if you realize that your point of power is in the present.

Now, this is not to be a technical book, so this is not the time nor place to discuss thoroughly the action, behavior or effects of these coordinate points; nor of the electromagnetic energy units — those natural emanations of consciousness of which I spoke. [...]

[...] As long as you consider the body’s difficulties as the issue, then you miss the point, and again are tempted to deal with the result as if it were the cause.

[...] All such ideas are not only beside the point, but lead you to use the symptoms or the result or hide the source.

I am to some extent oversimplifying to make my point, but the body is in the condition it is because you did not feel close enough together, et cetera. [...]

There is consciousness within each conceivable hypothetical point within the universe. [...]

I do not mean to overemphasize the point that this particular material is most difficult to explain, yet I can hardly stress the issue too strongly.

Give us a moment… Your universe did not emerge at any one point, therefore, or with any one initial cell — but everywhere it began to exist at once, as the inner pulsations of the invisible universe reached certain intensities that “impregnated” the entire physical system simultaneously.
