Now: There are sometimes almost insurmountable difficulties involved on my part in trying to explain the origin of your world.

You think of your universe as having certain dimensions, and you want an explanation based more or less upon the proposition that those dimensions themselves made possible the origin—which must, however, have emerged from other larger dimensions of actuality than those contained in your universe itself. (I think it more than a coincidence that in these excerpts from Seth Speaks, Seth mentions Darwin’s theory of evolution and the Biblical story of creation in the same sentence, for those systems of belief represent the two poles of the controversy over origins in our modern Western societies: the strictly Darwinistic, mechanistic view of evolution, in which the weakest of any species are ruthlessly eliminated through natural, predatory selection, and the views of the creationists, who hold that God made the earth and all of its creatures just as described in the Bible.

The inner self would be then any given outthrust of original action outward, as explained earlier. [...] And because it is action, and because no action can complete itself, and no action can completely materialize, then each outthrust or materialization would result in an in-thrust; not into the original action from which it came, but into itself.

The inner self could be called, then, the nucleus, the original point of action from which all the other emanations that form the whole self began. [...]

[...] There may very well be a conscious realization of each self, that it is a part of the original actionself.

These lines—I mean directions—overall, will give you your uniquely original style. [...] The original style and so forth, the original slant and direction that you seek, will be the result of your own inner vision freely followed according to the suggestions I have tried to give you. [...]
