(I told Jane I’d had another one of those long, involved, being-pursued dreams last night, this time involving my brother, Linden, who is 13 months younger than I am. [...]

[...] We regard this one line of data as a direct hit on Seth’s part.

[...] In the terms of this discussion the other creatures of the earth actually awakened before man did, and relatively speaking, their dream bodies formed themselves into physical ones before man’s did. [...]

[...] These buyers may look at many other paintings, but mine are the ones they want and will buy, because they are guided by the infinite intelligence within each of them. [...]

(The evening, dark, was a beautiful one. [...]

[...] (Pause.) Neither of you were taught to trust creative abilities, much less psychic ones. [...]

[...] (Pause.) In his thinking, in the quality of his thoughts, in their motion, he is indeed experimenting with a unique and a new kind of reality, forming other subjective worlds which will in their turn grow into consciousness and song, which will in their turn flower from a dream dimension into other ones. [...]

[...] Some of you have physical children as well—but you will all “one day” also be the mental parents of dream children who also waken in a new world, and look about them for the first time, feeling isolated and frightened and triumphant all at once. [...]

[...] Probably my own attitude and mood today, of course — yet the session could have been any one of a similar kind that Jane had given in the last ten years. [...]

[...] Jane told me that in hydro this morning she’d felt new movement in her right leg—the broken one—that it both tried to move more, and to straighten out more. [...]

[...] In human health difficulties, usually, the paths taken by reasoning and emotions become, say, too divergent, so that the reasoning mind says one thing and the emotions say something else. [...]

[...] And the invisible particles of which I speak not only possess consciousness—but each one is, if you will, a seed that contains within itself a potential for an infinite number of gestalts. [...]

The self that you are aware of represents only one “position” in which those invisible particles happen to intersect, gain mass, build up form. [...]

[...] The psyche, again, not only has no one sexual identification, but it is the larger psychic and psychological bank of potentials from which all gradations of sexuality emerge. [...]

They are however conflicts that are deeply a part of the human condition, and that must be faced in one life or another, both for the sake of the individual and for the sake of humanity at large. [...]

(This last statement came through from Seth during next break, just this one emphatic sentence, when Jane and I were discussing the material given.)

For one thing, she is afraid that the Jesuit will get more severe symptoms of his own, as a result of work pressure, and in a protective way she is trying to say “Bill, do not get sick. [...]

(Once again one of our cats scratched at the door for admittance. [...]

[...] The word I mean is one connected with trace minerals of metallic base.

[...] This is one thing I do not want to happen. [...]

What Seth is saying here is that the inner self uses this sense to initiate the birth of one of its personalities in physical life. [...]

[...] No one had taken Jane’s temperature this morning, since it had dropped back to normal range. [...]

[...] “I thought that session was the one that’s resulted in all the upsets since then,” I added. [...]
