(Today I called Babs from the hospital and verified the new appointment. [...]

[...] He lived at an intense peak of psychic and biological experience, and enjoyed a sense of creative excitement that in those terms only existed when the species was new.

(Long pause.) New paragraph: In deeper terms their existence still continues, with offshoots in all directions. [...]

(9:59.) One comment: have Ruburt discuss his new suggestions with you. [...]

(Jane has mentioned her idea for new suggestions to me, but I haven’t seen them yet. [...]

[...] Make up new, different “words” for the objects that you see about you. [...] Hold it for a few seconds, feel its texture, look at its color, and spontaneously give it a new name by uttering the sounds that come into your mind. [...]

The new word will fit as much as the old one did. [...]

The fresh expression sets up a new kind of relationship between the so-called perceiver and the perceived. [...]

The English itself, however, then becomes charged, freshened with new concepts, carrying within a strangeness that itself alters the relationship of the words. [...]

The new balance signals the organism that an inner problem has been resolved. [...] When new psychic challenges arise, another round of natural therapy begins in rhythmic pattern. [...]

[...] In that chapter Seth voices one of my favorite quotes: “Each mental act opens up a new dimension of actuality. [...]

[...] If the suggestions are followed there will be no return of symptoms, nor new ones adopted. [...]

As you know now, Ruburt handled himself well in a new situation, and that maturity gained these past two years was instantly felt. [...]

[...] Something at age 8 for this new baby, a minor operation, perhaps tonsils or appendix—this sort of thing. [...]

[...] She finished Chapter 17 today, and wrote in her journal after supper: “Very very very good on Chapter 17—oodles of new insights! Pleased!” She envisions at least another half dozen chapters for the book, but at the same time she’s leaving final decisions up to her creative self. [...]

[...] New chapter (8). [...]

(9:15.) As long as we are trying to explain the origin of your world in a new fashion, we will be bringing in many subjects that may not usually appear in such discussions. [...]

The next natural step would be to reassimilate those portions of the self, to acknowledge their ancient origins and abilities, to return them so that they form a new coating, as it were, or a new version of selfhood. [...]

2. Jane’s mention of reincarnation came from my idle speculations at our evening meal, after we’d been told about how a local man and woman had embarked upon a radically new joint life-style, to the consternation of many in our area. [...]

[...] There are muscles and tendons that are thawing out, hence the body is acclimating itself to new conditions.

These feelings will also be accompanied by sensations of warmth however, and so should be accepted and recognized as new signs of mobility and action. [...]

[...] The improvements will follow their own rhythm as the body sets up a new balance in compensation. [...]

[...] And yet because of the creative abilities of this mysterious dimension, more than inbreeding would be concerned, for it of itself could provide entirely fresh and new elements out of which further creativity could come.

[...] So in your physical life you die and begin a new life, with little memory of the one that has gone before, as you find it so difficult to recall your dreams. [...]

(This morning Jane learned through this individual that the husband in question has been involved with narcotics, to the extent that it was treated in the newspapers at the new location. [...]

[...] Nevertheless this life begins a new phase, where the communication involved will be, indeed, of a different variety. [...]

[...] The “new” Freudian ideas of the unsavory unconscious led further to a new dilemma, for it was then—as it is now—widely believed that as the result of experiences in infancy the subconscious, or unconscious, might very well sabotage the best interests of the conscious personality, and trick it into illness and disaster.

Science, however, seeing the body as a mechanism, has promoted the idea that consciousness is trapped within a mechanical model, that man’s suffering is mechanically caused in that regard: You simply give the machine some better parts and all will be well (amused). Science also operates as magic, of course, so on some occasions the belief in science itself will seemingly work miracles: The new heart will give a man new heart, for example.

[...] You must indeed trust that your new beliefs will work as completely for you as your old ones.

[...] You have lived before, and will again, and your new life, in your terms, springs out of the old, and is growing in the old and contained within it as the seed is already contained within the flower.

[...] They led you to fill out your creative self, to open new doors. [...]

[...] “I had no idea he was going to do that,”” Jane said, meaning work on the new book. [...]

[...] The many people, and connecting rooms, represented the new structure of vaster beliefs that are all interconnected while you are still, however, concentrating upon the private creative self, and from that viewpoint viewing the world — hence your private corner in which you painted, as from that corner of private creativity you viewed the large interacting structure of new beliefs.

[...] It’s located near Ithaca, New York, some 35 miles from both Elmira and Sayre. [...] Jane is from Saratoga Springs, in upstate New York. [...]

Ruburt has been feeling new, strong surges of desire — desire for normal health, normal motion, energy, and strength. [...]

[...] Now this is to be a new future, brought on as the result of healthier, wiser beliefs and attitudes. [...]

(10:15.) Now you moved, again, to a new place. [...] Was the new environment too rich for your blood? [...]
