(As we waited for the session to begin tonight, Jane said she still wasn’t used to the new method, the new voice; she still waits for its beginning, then is okay once started. [...]

(Just before the session, Jane told me later, she was again aware of the cone affect, which she calls an obvious intellectual attempt to visualize the new as it is postulated in the sessions. [...] Just above us is Seth; above both is the new development that we have come to call Seth’s entity; this is the peak of the cone. [...]

(Apropos of the above, I quote briefly from an article in the New York Times for May 9, 1968, written by Walter Sullivan and datelined May 8 from Cambridge, Massachusetts. [...]

You are each at the point of new comprehensions and understanding.

Ruburt’s new clothes are highly important symbolically and practically. [...]

[...] We are going into new areas. [...]

I am not comparing the body to a computer—but in a fashion it is as if Ruburt were reprogramming himself, with help from higher echelons of his being, so that a kind of new and more effective and beneficial organization is being activated, in which old errors were cancelled, and new knowledge is inserted. [...] She moved her shoulders and arms and hands as usual—very well indeed—which shows that she’s keeping her new motions. [...]

[...] When old materials are discarded and new avenues of traffic are cleared. [...]

(The same reader also sent us a copy of a chapter out of a book by a Dr. Ariola, who I think writes for New Realities magazine also on health foods and related topics. [...]

Now, we will begin with some material with a slightly new slant or cast this evening. [...]

First of all, some of the ideas in the Magical Child book are excellent, and though he has not read the book thoroughly by any means, some new understandings have been reached through the use of those ideas and his own recent experiences by Ruburt.

[...] Jane finished her Psychic Politics, and began some new poetry and world-view material. [...] And oh, yes, both of us also did a lot of ordinary living, such as moving and getting settled in our new home and entertaining friends now and then. [...]

2. Our “new” hill house is really 21 years old. It seems new to Jane and me, though — and to Seth too, we notice. Calling it new is a pretty convenient way for us to distinguish it from the much older apartment house we vacated last month. Actually, however, we’re using the word “new” to indicate our present physical and psychological states. In that sense, if the house we’ve just moved into was physically older than the one we left behind, I suppose we’d still call it new.

(Pause at 9:52, eyes closed.) Joseph and Ruburt have moved into a “new”² house. [...] (Long pause.) They identify with the selves who moved into the new “hill house.” [...]

In fact, you move into new areas of the self all of the time. [...] Mankind will be entering its own new house, then — but the physical changes will be the results of interior ones, and alterations in main lines of probabilities.

[...] Earlier caught myself stewing over my windows new room being accessible that is, noticeable; then cleared that up saying that Frank, etc., will be gone; phone book won’t have address; winter coming—but if I have to, I’ll lock the screen door or put up a note working hours no guests; but anyhow I’ll make conscious decisions and take steps. [...] It can be seen that election day sales are mentioned in large type on both sides of page 11 and 12 of the New York Times for November 6,1966. The New York State elections were due the next Tuesday, November 8, and included the governorship contest.

[...] You are in an entirely new environment, but you are still beset by certain personality tendencies that are yours.

[...] So Peg is rearranging the furniture of her mind; and as you might visit a new residence and move some of your belongings into it before you have officially made it your own, so she has for some time been examining her new environment, and been in tie process of transferring her self to the new location.

[...] The new body is of course not a new body at all, but simply a body not physical in your terms, one that you use in astral projections, one that gives the vitality and strength to the physical body that you know.

There would have been all kinds of complications as a result of the Friday episode had it not been for your combined prayer activities and new understanding. [...]

It helps form the new individual, and then it must withdraw. The new self unit must be free and not hampered by the demands that could otherwise be put upon it. The new individual has a deeply buried memory of its past lives, but the personal consciousness of the last reincarnated self must not be superimposed upon this new identity. The new personality, in its small astral body, does visit with other portions of the entire identity. [...]

[...] As quickly as the new data forms the fetus and the physical structure, the self from the previous reincarnation must begin to withdraw its hold. [...] It does not become the new individual however.

Many abortions, natural ones, are caused when the new personality is having difficulty constructing the new form, projects to others for advice, and is advised not to return. [...]

(This had indeed been a new experience for Jane, and she called it a new state of consciousness for her. [...]

[...] Not only privately but en masse they surged up, adding a new impetus and giving a natural “new” direction — beginning to call all portions of the self, as it knew itself, together.

[...] Creation is the result of tension, though instantly new tension is set up, since tension is a characteristic of action. And each creation, being action, will instantly set up new tension.

[...] Relationships are also the result of tensions, and each action sets up a new tension.

[...] Your time system is indeed the result of tension as it is distorted within your own system, yet the distortion itself, as you see, creates a new reality. [...]

(Jane said the new personality wasn’t as familiar with words as she herself is. Jane said she felt that Seth stood between her and the new personality to act as a translator in both directions. [...]

[...] We plan to go camping at Enfield Glen, near Ithaca, New York, next week. [...]

(Once again the new personality’s voice was high and thin and clear and distant. [...]

[...] An initial encounter for him, with a new individual, in business. [...]

The new individual is either with the company or strongly connected with your attitude toward the company. [...]

[...] A new product being developed by the company that affects the nervous system, a strong U, long U sound connected with it. [...]
