[...] It needed the existence of a sophisticated memory system in which new situations and experiences could be judged against recalled ones, and evaluations made in an in-between moment of reflection.

[...] You would follow your own pattern of continuity and understanding, weaving this into the sleep and dream states, forming a “new” pattern that triumphantly combines all, as to some extent this occurs in our sessions.

Now: The last two sessions, more or less on evolution, can be included in this book, and serve as the opening sessions of a new chapter, entitled: “The Universe and the Psyche.”

[...] As I’ve said to Jane more than once, “I wonder what we ought to know that Tam hasn’t told us”—meaning of course that every time a hassle develops with Prentice-Hall we find out a new batch of information that Tam has known all along but never relayed to us. [...]

[...] That is, I do not want your practical experience of life to seem inferior as you are in the process of learning how to live in a new fashion. [...]

[...] The new you would simply be more than you are now. [...]

“As I walk into the kitchen the head of my dream self fills with vivid scenes, like other dreams, interpretations of each cell of this new awareness. [...]

(Jane has had two recent, excellent and long sessions for her ESP class, however, featuring both Seth and Seth II, and including new material.)

(Long pause, eyes closed.) Any mental message is also received, in an electromagnetic code, and directly transferred, bypassing the conscious mind, into movement of the new temporary force field.

[...] I’m still pursuing my new ideas about ignoring as much as possible any potential hassles, and focusing on my creative work each day.

(This passage grows out of a very recent call from Betty Taylor, of the Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship group, to Jane, concerning a weekend visit to Pawling, New York in early December, and a possible lecture tour of the Northeast. [...]

[...] Physicians began to think of men as carriers of disease and diseases — which, in certain terms, they [the physicians] did themselves create through some new medical procedures.

(Shortly before the session, Jane told me she thought we’d get material on the new book as well as some other information we were interested in.

[...] Some dreams he has forgotten have already begun to acquaint him with new developments. [...]

[...] In like manner the personality is divided, one part conscious of the primary self and another disconnected and waiting formation into something new. [...]

I have decided as you have seen to include a little new material this evening. [...]

[...] However, I want to make it plain that we are certainly not setting up a new dogma. [...]

(This time, I found myself standing in the doorway of an office building in New York City. [...]

[...] As you leave your usual orientation, however, altering the focus of your consciousness, you may very well structure your new experience just as you do your physical one. [...]

[...] Be reasonable, however: If you have difficulties in New York City, you are most apt to encounter them in a different form no matter where else you might travel. [...]

[...] He’s a member of Jane’s ESP class, lives in New York City, and was in Elmira a day early to conduct some personal business.

[...] The next year the new flowers will see a slightly different landscape, yet the overall patterns will be the same. [...]

[...] Usually however we are highly active, our full energies focused in our work and in new challenges.

Each success sets up a new constructive pattern. [...]

She was very sensitive therefore to telepathic suggestions sent her way by tenants, and felt that they did not like her, highly resented her as the new landlord. [...]

[...] In this model there is always new energy, and all systems are open, even though they may seem to operate separately. [...]
