“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(The photo in question, in color, is not dated, but was taken in 1973. In it Jane is very thin; it’s now apparent that she has put on a modest amount of weight. We didn’t realize this. I’m marking the photo with this session number, for possible future reference.)

(So Jane experienced a modest series of unusual psychic events before the sessions themselves began; some details on these have been given in earlier notes. [...]

[...] Naturally we’d been involved in a number of other projects at the same time, as I’ve indicated in my notes for Mass Events, yet for me especially the publication of the two volumes of “Unknown” Reality meant that we had arrived at a certain point in the development and presentation of the Seth material: In those books, through correlating them in a modest way with our previous works, I’d attempted to show the reader just what the three of us had managed to achieve before Seth led us into Psyche — and, as it developed, Mass Events.

How does the human data from such very ancient times fit in with the comparatively modest dates — of “only” 50 million to 30 million years ago — that Seth cites for his mutated forms at the beginning of this session? [...]

[...] Someone, Jane said, had also remarked about her modest weight gain today, but she couldn’t recall who it had been. [...]

You are so consciously aware of your need for privacy and you are so consciously modest, that his very strong but mostly unconscious needs in these directions sometimes go unsatisfied, since he is not as consciously aware of them.
