He trusted you in the manuscript itself of a Seth book to provide the accuracy of record, in which he felt he was himself relatively deficient, and also to contribute the background material he felt so necessary, yet which he found difficult himself, and he valued of course your loyalty, support, and inspiration. If you would try to see your own creative unity, then both your painting and your writing would give greater satisfaction, and become richer—your prose inspired by your imagery, and your painting by your ideas, so that both are sparked, producing not only products but a creative vision that sees reality through an extension that would be the natural art of consciousness, meant to blossom from those abilities. It was no coincidence however that Ruburt’s Father Trayner read him poetry, inspired Ruburt’s love of poetry, and that Ruburt would feel that he had to use poetry to express ideas with which his mentor did not agree.

From this layer many of the deepest inspirations come. [...]

(Long pause.) Ruburt broke through both psychically and creatively—that is, the sessions almost immediately provided him with new creative inspiration and expression and with the expansions needed psychologically that would help fulfill his promise as a writer and as a mature personality. [...]

(This appendix was inspired by two blocks of material Seth covered in the 711th session: Jane’s hearing his voice recently in the sleep state [see her own notes at the start of the 710th session], and the bridge personality she and Seth have created “between dimensions,” or between themselves.

[...] Throughout this period she did a great deal of other work: Besides holding class and continuing Rich Bed, she produced in their entirety Dialogues, Personal Reality, Volume 1 of “Unknown” Reality, and started Volume 2. Toward the end of this period the aspects channel began opening up regularly, providing further refinements on her original inspirations. [...]

[...] He seems to be in awe, relatively speaking, of your simplified “perfectionist” detailed ways, while to a certain extent you seem to be equally awed by his inspired, undetailed ways — a game each of you plays.

(Long pause.) Let us try another analogy: You are an artist in the throes of inspiration. [...]
