(Notes: On December 2 we were visited by a group of Jane’s students from NYC – Richie, Ricky, Sheri, Jerry, Jeff, Van Zandt, etc. [...]

[...] I told her that it looked as though Seth used my newspaper incident to actually summarize in capsule form much of the material he’s been giving us in this latest group of private sessions. [...]

[...] Turns out the three were given up for adoption at birth, and although they knew they were adopted, they didn’t know they belonged to what actually had been a quadruplet group. [...]

Now all of these ideas were quite conscious, but he held each group separately. [...]

[...] Physically the body has the same capacity for strength regardless of which group of ideas were dominant; but practically speaking, Augustus One was incapable of performing the feats of Augustus Two.

One evening, in this very [living] room, a small group was assembled not too long ago. [...]

Roger speaks the same way in any social group, and therefore to that extent spreads a negative and despairing aura. [...]

[...] Even in contests between young and old males for control of a group, under natural conditions the loser is seldom killed. [...]

[...] Groups of probable selves, then, can and do form their own identity structure, which is quite aware of the probable selves involved. [...]

In political terms such persons also look for strong authoritative groups or governments, stress law and order above justice or equality, and tend to see the poorer, less advantaged members of society as impulse-ridden, dangerous, and always ready for revolution. [...]

[...] In the same way, society seemed no longer to be a group of cooperative individuals, of creatures gathered together; but it became an alien, outside force, threatening the individual as much as it supported him.

[...] In some societies or tribes, the old or infirm were killed lest their care take too much attention from the able-bodied and endanger the group.

[...] History was dependent upon the old with their memory of past events, and the group’s sense of continuity was also in the hands of its oldest members, who passed memories on to others.

[...] There should be, again, no overreliance on any particular group of foods.

You are speaking about one specific group of tests and the doubt exists, you see, in your mind and while that particular kind of doubt exists nothing will convince you. [...]

There was no time for more discussion though, because Seth now began to speak to Jean, the most psychically gifted of the group:

Now when, in Ruburt’s terms, you click as a group within this class, you will know that you have done so, and your experiments and experiences will really take bloom. [...]

[...] A second group stems from what Seth says, and what we’ve come to believe about what he tells us. [...] In spite of all this, we’ve found that any one group of questions amplifies or adds to those related to the other two categories — i.e., like energy regenerating itself, the questions automatically proliferate. [...] Then, I’ve grouped the actual notes at the end of the individual sessions for quick consultation. [...]

[...] And, according to Seth, the same would apply to any group. [...]
