[...] As I finished cleaning up the planter I came up with another of the “insights” I’ve been getting since we started this series of private sessions on February 4, 1981; see my notes at the end of the session for February 11. [...]

(Actually it’s Friday night as I finish this typing, and I read the untyped portions of the session to Jane each morning as I had it in progress. [...]

(Jane has been so busy finishing up the manuscript of her book on the Seth material, for Prentice-Hall, that we haven’t had a session since September 29.

(“Just briefly: What do you think of that little painting of the trees I did?” This is why, earlier, I asked Seth which painting the dream referred to; I was just finishing up this painting while beginning the fruit still life, on October 9.)

(It was 9:40 by the time Jane finished her dictation. [...]

(After finishing Personal Reality in July, 1973, Jane and I took quite a bit of time off from our usual Monday–Wednesday session routine while we prepared that book for publication. [...]

[...] By the time I’d finished her toes, the muscles around her eyes and across her forehead were also moving, seemingly with an impetus or life of their own. [...]

[...] She finished at 3:19, after having trouble with words and phrases. [...]

[...] She’d started out trying to read the session, but did poorly, so I finished reading it to her by 4:25. [...]

(We were having trouble with our car, and at suppertime I had been voicing fears that it might be finished.)

[...] I made no leaps in time to write about her physical death, for to me that sad event lay too far in the future — over two and a half years — from the time she finished dictating Dreams, “Evolution,” … in February 1982.

[...] I was obligated to spend many months finishing a Seth book — Dreams, “Evolution,” and Value Fulfillment — that we had started way back in September 1979, long before she went into the hospital; as I had planned to, I resumed work on that project the day after she died. [...]

[...] When at his request I rediscovered Seth, Dreams … three months ago, and examined it, I couldn’t believe that that finished manuscript had never been published. [...]

[...] Just as I finished — or perhaps nearly so — the door began to close. [...]

(Jane said she’d like a session as soon as we’d finished a late supper—by 7:20 PM—and expressed the hope that Seth would deal with her immediate situation—sort of an emergency treatment. [...]

(It’s the next day as I finish typing the session. [...]

(Just before we sat for the session Jane finished reading my account of my “light of the universe” experience of last Sunday evening, September 21, and my account of the experience involving … clairvoyance … precognition … that I’d had at naptime today, involving my idea for a novel and an article in tonight’s Star-Gazette, Elmira’s daily newspaper. [...]

[...] I didn’t have any strong feeling that I had, however, but get a few thrills as I finish this account.

[...] This one I’d finished but a couple of months ago. [...]

[...] After the session I told Jane I thought Seth didn’t finish dealing with the question I’d outlined before the session. [...]

(As I drifted off into my nap at 5:15, after finishing my dehypnotizing massage of Jane, I remembered the dream I’d had last night. [...]
