“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

I have told you that a plane was not necessarily a location in space, but a field of mental vitality. The material that I have given you on the fifth dimension will here prove invaluable. I have told you that it is space, since this was the beginning of our discussions. During our earliest session I used the term space for simplicity’s part for your sakes, while still explaining most carefully that this fifth-dimensional space was far different than what you consider space to be.

(I presume here that by “earliest session” Seth refers to his first material on the fifth dimension, given in the 12th session. Space as a fifth dimension was however also referred to in the first session. See Volume 1, page 8. This first session material was given to us through Frank Watts, however. Frank Watts is a fragment of Seth’s entity. Seth stated recently that the Seth material begins when he announced his presence to us by name, and this would be in the 4th session. See the 85th session, Volume 2, page 336, for Seth’s statement concerning the Frank Watts material.)

A fifth-dimensional universe does not have to possess all the attributes of the previous four, for example. Once you progress beyond a fourth-dimensional universe, then freedoms are attained which will make the attributes of previous dimensions unnecessary.

Before I mention briefly the fifth dimension of which we have already spoken, many sessions ago, I suggest your break.

[...] This fifth sense differs from the fourth [conceptual sense] in that it does not involve cognition of a concept. [...]

[...] It was witnessed by four people, and interrupted by a fifth. [...]

[...] Seth, without being asked, told Peggy that she had a disturbance in the area of the third to fifth vertebrae, and that this, basically, was the cause of her back and arm disturbances. [...]

[...] Seth said the sudden dropping put a strain on the third to fifth vertebrae. [...]

[...] A fifth person had also appeared, causing the end of the session after one set of witnesses had left. [...]

(Jane dictates:) I thought you were going to ask me about her recitation of the fifth dimension, which came across unusually well and quite undistorted. You understand that generalized material on the fifth dimension and other matters in no way jeopardizes her present personality, or causes strain or panic. [...]

(“Then perhaps you’ll tell us more about the fifth dimension. [...]

[...] I began the drawing in reference to an image Seth had conjured up in an earlier session on the fifth dimension. [...]

I would say something about the fifth dimension, although it is extremely difficult. [...]

As far as fifth dimension is concerned, I have said it is space. [...]

[...] This is what I mean by fifth dimension. [...]

[...] So are the wires that we constructed to make our point about fifth dimension, but for all practical purposes we must behave as if the wires are there. [...]

I am mentioning this material in the same session with the fifth inner sense so that you will finally understand that use of the fifth inner sense is not actually as strange as you may have thought it to be.

The fifth inner sense carries us further along in this direction, and involves what I will call cognition of the knowledgeable essence. [...]

[...] Use of this fifth inner sense, were it available to you, and in its fuller sense -fortunately it is not—would enable you to enter into your friend.

This fifth sense, then, would enable you some freedom to cross this living tissue boundary into other living territory. [...]

If you will again recall our material on the fifth dimension, you will see how this must be the case. [...]

[...] I have mentioned before that beneath camouflage the fifth dimension is truly transparent. [...]

[...] Seth, she said, felt very pleased with himself when he referred to the fifth dimension material; as if to say, “See, this material is why I couldn’t explain any more of the fifth dimension to you, way back in the 12th session.”

[...] Again, these patterns are formed one within the other, and they could be said to form that imaginary structure which we called the fifth dimension, so many sessions ago.

(Although Seth has given us relatively little on the fifth dimension, he has made many references to this one session. [...] Notice also that this material was obtained 60 sessions ago; and as far as my memory serves, Seth has not contradicted himself on this fifth dimensional material in any sessions that have taken place since then.)

[...] Yet our fifth-dimensional early session hinted in this direction.

Our material on the fifth dimension seemed almost infinite to you at the time. That is, the fifth dimension appeared infinite in its complexity, but you see that it is but one dimension within an infinite number of dimensions. [...]

[...] You must understand here that your idea of space is something quite different from the reality of our fifth dimensional space. [...]

[...] True fifth-dimensional space, as I have said often, is to the contrary vital energy, itself alive, possessing endless abilities of transformation, forming all existences, forming even the camouflage universe with which you are familiar, and which you attempt to probe so ineffectively.

This fifth dimensional space, this basic universe of reality of which I speak, expands constantly in terms of intensity and quality and value, in a way that has nothing to do with your idea of space.

[...] Creation is obviously one of the basic laws, which we will call the fifth law.

[...] When fifth dimension is understood, it in itself will show the existence of other realities not on your own horizontal plane. [...]

The discovery of the existence of the fifth dimension will of course lead your aggressive fellows into the realization that other intelligence can exist outside of your particular camouflage universe. [...]

(Seth mentioned a boy who sat in a third or fourth seat in a specific row also given—had he said, for example, fifth or sixth this would have been wrong since Pat told us the students only sit four down.
