1. In the 582nd session in Chapter 20 of Seth Speaks, I quoted Seth during a 1971 ESP class: “All consciousness does, indeed, exist at once, and therefore it did not evolve in those terms … the theory of evolution is as beautiful a tale as the theory of Biblical creation … both might seem to exist within their own systems, and yet, in larger respects they cannot be realities….”

(Long pause at 10:18.) In a fashion—and forgive me for using one of my favorite qualifications again—but in a fashion, cultures do not evolve in the kind of straightforward manner that is usually supposed. [...]

[...] The book follows the idea that an objectified God made the universe (and the earth) in a perfect condition, and that instead of evolving toward more complicated forms, it’s running down; that decay and catastrophe are break-downs of previous better conditions, but that even these will finally be removed by the Creator after they have served their own special purposes. (Again, during the break the point that “the answers are within us” was being discussed and the further point that these answers were evolved emotionally rather than wholly rationally. [...]

You are in the process of evolving another form of consciousness, that is individually. [...]

The conscious mind however is (underlined) evolving, in your terms. [...]

(Long pause.) The environment in which an outbreak occurs points at the political, sociological, and economic conditions that have evolved, causing such disorder. [...]
