In The Seth Material, published in 1970, I explained these events and gave Seth’s views on a variety of subjects with excerpts from the sessions. [...]

[...] I’ve had several “out-of-body” experiences also during sessions, when I saw events actually happening some thousands of miles away.

I’m including in this chapter a few poems as notes of a subjective autobiography, to show what events triggered this first release of unconscious material on my part, opening the doors to the interior universe; for now I believe that certain personal conditions are characteristic prerequisites for such developments, that the channels of intuitive knowledge are opened according to the intensity of individual need. [...] (Long pause.) You intuitively feel a great connection between your individual subjective moods and the weather, yet you attribute this to mean that you are reacting to exterior physical events that exist quite independently of yourselves. [...]

[...] You are consciously aware of certain events, and unconsciously aware of much more that in one way or another you are learning to bring into conscious focus.

The event is not assimilated. [...]

[...] Those events also added high drama, rich content, and provided unique creative material. [...]

There are archaeological ages given to man’s physical history, or the history of the earth, or to the coming or going of the physical events of nature. [...]

[...] So far, then, events have fallen into line with Seth’s material yesterday—about the probable lack of a lawsuit, an early resolving of the insurance question, and with Jane’s own feelings about same, at the end of yesterday’s session. [...]

[...] And physical events then (underlined) seem to prove the attitudes true:

Such behavior even causes a certain corporal dishonesty, for the cells’ freedom from time means that on certain levels the cellular structure is aware of probable future events, as mentioned (just before break). The body, therefore, is reacting to future and past activity as well, in order to maintain its present corporal balance.

If one wanted to outline an event such as our moving from an arbitrary beginning to an arbitrary end, I added, it could be from the time we first looked at Mr. Markle’s house in Sayre, in April 1974, to sometime in the summer of l975, when we think the situation next door will be resolved with the arrival of “new” people. Good events cannot help it, then, for the personality does not admit it is a portion of itself.

[...] [I’m sure others have had similar experiences: Once a subject is focused upon, data relative to it seem to leap out from the background welter of daily events and “facts” surrounding one’s life.] Almost automatically, many of the notes for this appendix came to deal with the scientific thinking about evolution, and I realized that I wanted them to show the differences [as well as any similarities that might emerge] between Seth’s concepts and those “official” views prevailing in our physical reality.

[...] Disbelievers say that neurological evidence contradicts this theory; that from the neurological standpoint the events in our lives and within our bodies depend upon interpretation by the brain, that we can know nothing directly, but only experience transmitted through — and so “colored” by — the central nervous system. [...] But material awareness and bodily response to it would be impossible were it not for these internal webworks … I am saying that all exterior events, including your own bodies with their insides, all objects, all physical materializations, are the outside structures of inside ones that are composed of interior sound and invisible light, interwoven in electromagnetic patterns.

Beneath temporal perception, then, each object and event exists in these terms, in patterns that interact with each other. [...]
