[...] (Long pause.) There is great energy connected with the fetus. At no time in physical life is so much energy utilized so purposefully, so well directed. It is this charge of energy, of truly cosmic proportion, that allows for this initial breakthrough into matter.

There have been changes in the past month, extremely important in his mental and spiritual condition, and along with this the release of mental and psychic energies, and healthy concentration in all areas of his work, with reasonable and optimistic plans for the future. [...]

Such ideas, practically speaking anyhow, deny you the use of creative energy and vitality you think you had then, that you think you do not have now—the unbridled free energy and exuberance you have equated with youth. By equating it with youth in your mind you deny it to yourself in your present, and therefore deny yourself energy that is (underlined three times) available to be used.

The individual feels the presence of great energy, and is unsure as to how to use it. [...] Ruburt wonders how much wasted energy went into Picasso’s antics—that should have gone into his work. Van Gogh and Cézanne were afraid of their energy, and with all they did could have done far more. Picasso’s free flow of energy in all areas freed energy for his work, and did not detract from it. He kept his channels to energy open, therefore the energy flowed through his work freely, and in a short period of time he could produce a painting that might take years for another as gifted to produce, who husbanded his talent as a miser.

Those purposes involve each of you and your work, and those methods that you think are necessary to direct your energies “properly,” husband your energy, and protect you from what you think of as a hostile world. You are as afraid of your energies as Ruburt is. [...]

You are afraid of releasing your energy into your work, for fear it will carry you beyond all ordinary relationships—simply because your father’s creativity seemed to cut him off from his wife and sons, and to lead to isolation. [...]

If it were not for these energies you would not have children; if it were not for these energies you would not be alive. [...] These are the energies of which you speak. Emotions, or emotional energy, can be transformed rather easily from one to the other. The energy in hate can be utilized in love, for example. [...] If not, consciously you forget the aggression; the energy stores up until it explodes in what we will call an unsupervised construction.

[...] But with the same expenditure of energy, you could be much better off with a change in expectation, and the resultant change in the direction of your energy construction.

Aggressions are merely the result of energy not clearly directed, invalid survival patterns. [...]

Each self is therefore not only ejecting almost in missile fashion such energy from his own core, but he is also constantly impinged by such energy from others. He chooses to translate whatever portions of this energy he so chooses, back into forms that can be picked up and understood by his own mechanism.

As many quite real phenomena cannot be seen by your eyes, so with your outer senses you cannot perceive these constant departures of quality-energy from the self into what seems to be notself. These energies, these thoughts and wishes, travel. [...]

At various times your own energies change their rhythm. I do not mean to suggest that either of you are ill or in low reserves, simply that the psychic energies have their own cycles, and that these cycles must be respected, especially when they are being utilized so well.

For practical purposes you might say, and for practical purposes only, that on your plane the self is limited only by the fields of energy that it can control. [...]

[...] With this occurs a chemical overexertion, an attempt chemically to make up for loss of energy in a specific area. The body’s defenses, with oftentimes insufficient energy at their command, attempt to hold the fort and make repairs, until the needed energy is again available.

Inner pockets of fear hold back needed energy, creating these weak points in the physical body. Efficiency may be developed through understanding, and through the efficient use of psychic energy. [...]

Needed energy is held back in the fist of fear, and not used for fullest repair within the physical body. When the fear is activated it, the fear, drains more energy from the physical construction, contracting, the fear being like a short-circuit mechanism; and indeed definite electrical forces are here activated.

Now again let me tell you, though the hour be late(quite loudly) and though Ruburt thinks that such demonstrations as these are hardly worth the effort (quite softly) and childish endeavors at best, I still want you to know, as I always want you to know, that my vitality is your own and that the energy that swings through this small frame is but an echo of the energy that swings through your own personality.

While there is a portion of All That Is, that is aware of itself as you, for example, a portion that is indeed focused within your existence, whose energy is directed within you, and to whom you can call for help when necessary, there is also an overall god-personality that is aware of itself also as something that is more than the sum of its creations. Within your particular plane of activity, and speaking practically, no one fully or completely can use all the energy available to them, or completely materialize the inner sensed identity that is multidimensional. [...]

It is their energy that gives energy to your own, and all other universes, and it is their energy that forms the matter of your own physical universe. [...]

Now the quasars represent pure energy, basically speaking. Your scientists presently have little idea of what this means, for comparatively speaking they conceive of energy in one-dimensional terms. [...]

Also I mentioned that the spacious present knows no beginning or end, and that energy, of which everything is composed, can never be withdrawn. Nor can individualized energy ever lose its individuality, nor in a very actual sense can anything which has ever existed go out of existence, but merely change its form.

Energy is self-perpetuating. The universe and all planes and universes of existence, come indeed from what you may call energy, vitality, idea; or despite Ruburt’s stubborn blocking, from a personality essence or psychic gestalt which you may refer to as God if you prefer. [...]
