(A few notes: I have always felt that my early life, being so different than Jane’s, had a lot to do with my approach to painting, once I embarked upon it after meeting her when I was about 34. I didn’t grow up with the consuming urge toward fine art that she developed about writing at an early age. [...]

The child, also, uses such information as a guide only; as a premise upon which it bases early behavior. As the mind develops, the child immediately begins to question the early assumptions. [...]

In retrospect we can see how the mystical Jane has always tried to intuitively penetrate the nature of reality through her art; I’ve illustrated that learning process by presenting selections from her early poetry at apropos times throughout the two volumes of “Unknown” Reality. I also gave some background information on Jane’s nature (with a poem) in Appendix 1 for Volume 1.
