(Saturday, May 16, 5:00 PM: Possibly a dream: In a view from above I had a panoramic glimpse of the curving surface of a planet, something like the moon, covered with protuberances that seemed to be craters in reverse.

I want to mention the difference also in experience and sensation, between a projection that begins in the dream state, and one that begins in a trance state, and also to discuss what Ruburt calls awake-seeming dreams, for there are several points here that you do not know, and they are fairly important.

You should find it interesting, when you note waking or dream projections, to notice the overall form of perception that you seem to be using. [...]

If self A were limited to the perceptions of the ego, and if self A were limited then to the dimensions in which it found itself, then my dear friends precognition in dreams would be impossible, and in order to perceive the future self A would of necessity be forced to discontinue existence within the physical system.

(Yesterday’s session was mainly on the Sasquatch phenomenon, triggered I imagine by the program In Search Of, and I’ll probably take time off from Dreams one morning to get it done. That’s complicated at the moment because I’m already taking time off from Dreams each morning now, to work on 1983 tax figures. [...]

The same year I painted my self-portrait, I painted Jane as I saw her in my dream of March 10, 1987. [...] I knew that in the dream Jane was reassuring me that she still lived.

Personally, at least, I see strong connections between the idea of double dreams and the kind of conscious reincarnational memory — or knowledge — detailed by Sue in this appendix.
