The physical conditions are irreversible, because of conditions that are not physical within the personality.

It is more difficult for Ruburt if he has a break under such conditions as those that exist this evening.

Thinking that the words referred to the physical condition of the person whose death was foreseen, Ruburt changed them as mentioned in an effort to better the situation. [...]

[...] We can say that Ruburt has received valid information concerning his mother’s death, which has not yet occurred; but the conditions which will cause it have begun.

Nevertheless, because the patient is in a condition where he is most susceptible to suggestions, a great responsibility lies upon the shoulders of those who would treat illness. [...]

3. Many physical conditions have an allergic connection—the person “allergic” to certain portions of the self— so that kind of stress can be overall quite beneficial.
