He has the idea that good health is a reward for excellent inner performance, and part of this attitude is because of a literal and uncompromising misinterpretation of my remarks that the physical body is the direct materialization of the inner condition.

He is so confused about the reasons for his condition that he literally did not know where to turn, and so he turned to me.

[...] His symptoms became a hanger upon which you could hang your joint dissatisfactions, his physical condition an easy mark to stand for what both of you considered inner imperfections; again, connected mainly with your creative endeavors.

I want to make these points because Ruburt’s physical condition in part was the result of his feelings that left alone, in good condition, he might resort to “extreme behavior.”

Ruburt has already been healed of conditions quite as complicated as the leg that was broken.

There is no need saying Ruburt would be in better physical condition perhaps if the psychic development has not happened—since that development was a part of his natural growth processes. [...]
