1. I suggest that in connection with this note the reader review the 891st session for December 26, 1979, in Chapter 3 for Volume 1 of Dreams, where Seth referred to the American hostage affair as “a materialized mass dream.”

[...] Other kinds of tests, more “formal” ones that we carried out in 1965–66, are detailed in Chapter 8 of The Seth Material; it’s easy for us to forget now that those early tests were quite successful, and could be resumed at any time. [...]

Two years later, while working on Chapter 22 of Psychic Politics, Jane herself wrote: “No one has really tried to map the natural contours of the psyche. [...]

5. Jane deals with her profound alteration of consciousness in Part 2 of Dialogues: “The Paper and Trips Through an Inner Garden,” and in Chapter 9 of Adventures.

[...] For the purposes of this particular chapter, we will discuss illnesses or situations that have arisen since childhood, so we are not including birth defects or very early life-endangering childhood accidents, or most unfortunate childhood family situations. [...]
