Pretend, pretend that yourself...your whole identity, is a tape, such as being used here, but in stereophonic. Now, pretend that you have eight channels on this fantastic machine. Now, the whole self is composed, to use this analogy, of the entire eight channels. Usually, however, you can only play one channel at a time. The whole self, however, is aware of the entire eight channels and is able to keep track of them. The conscious mind as you know it is only one note on the first channel, not even the entire channel. You can learn methods that will enable you to tune in on these other channels. These other channels are all conscious portions of your own entire identity. They may or may not be aware of you as one small note on the first channel. They must learn to tune in, but many of them have already learned this knowledge and it is part of their own training.

In order to gain knowledge, in order to discover your reincarnation realities, you must not necessarily block out the conscious mind with which you are familiar and turn to sleep. Instead, you see, it is like turning off one channel and turning on another channel.

I do not approve of what has been said so far. And there are a few points I would like to make. You have not one, but many conscious selves. You have more than one conscious mind. What we want you to do is something quite different. We want you to change the channels of your awareness. We want you momentarily to stop using one of your conscious minds and learn how to tune into another one of your conscious minds.

[...] Instead people have varying abilities to use any of an infinite number of channels, any one of which in your terms leads to an inexhaustible source. The channels by their nature will translate and shape creative energy with their unique dimensions.

You naturally express your nature through your use of the channel of art. Your ability to draw upon that channel is endless. [...]

[...] You are given your own nature, certain portions of it naturally tuning in to what in your case you could call the channel of art. [...]

[...] It’s like I’ve got three channels from Seth going at once….

You have channels open to those various sources that you have forgotten. [...] There are ways for you to tell when channels are clear. There are ways to open the channels from your end, and we will discuss them. [...]

Beyond this however, some channels are more distortive than others, and we hope to keep this channel as undistorted as possible. [...]

[...] I need you to coach me, to ask, ‘What’s happening now?’ to keep me focused on one channel…. [...]

[...] Learn to use the mobility of your own consciousness joyfully and follow even further into the pyramid and into, indeed, the light of consciousness and understanding, for it reaches as a pathway between those dimensions, and it is indeed a channel between those dimensions, and it is indeed a channel between your world and other worlds that also exist. Now the channels this evening to probable selves are open rather clearly. [...]

[...] Turn and return again through to the pyramid and the channel, back through to the rooms and the scenes and past people. [...]

[...] Therefore, when cross currents of action are constructed, action will continue in those directions unless it is diverted back to other channels. Then the secondary or impeding channel will automatically be closed off. But all action must be withdrawn from it, for as long as the channel remains, then the possibility remains that the impeding action will reoccur.

It is extremely difficult, but it is possible for the human system to close off, for all practical purposes, a channel that has been used for the flow of such an impeding action. The channel may automatically disappear, but the action itself can never be withdrawn.

There are indeed methods by which the flow of action can be turned back, away from the impeding channels, and we will discuss that matter in some detail.

Now: Ruburt’s sensing of the channels does represent a development and has been possible for some time; but it is only now entering his experience. [...]

You switch from channel to channel with predictable results. The programming for Channel 9, for example, does not suddenly intrude on Channel 6. Even the actors themselves, taking part in such sagas, have but the remotest idea of events that are involved in order that their own images will appear on your television screen. [...]

Each channel will represent a portion of the self, each one existing in a different dimension, and yet all part of the whole self, or the whole tape. [...]

Now I want you to follow that channel backward to land in the other room and feel yourselves enter the bodies that sit there. Now the selves that you know are now returning through the channels, and as they do you will experience a relaxation of the neck and shoulder area and as you return into the selves that you know the back of your heads will also feel more rested for the body knew that there was a difference in consciousness for some of you. [...] There are channels of interrelatedness, connecting all physical matter — channels through which consciousness flows.

In those terms of which I am speaking, man’s identification with nature allowed him to utilize those inner channels. [...]

The inner senses can be thought of as transformers, where various kinds of data is sent to proper channels within the personality, channels which bypass ordinary physical channels. [...]

(Voice louder.) There is a peculiar corner within Ruburt’s personality, also deflected into your own, that allows him a rather clear access into informational channels most difficult to reach from your system. [...]

This has to do with communication as it was applied to their drawings and paintings, and to the highly discriminating channels that their creative communications could take. [...]

(10:41.) They learned quickly, and education was an exciting process, because this multisensuous facility automatically impressed information upon them not simply through one sense channel at a time but utilizing many simultaneously. [...]

I do not necessarily mean physical power however, but so much of their energy was used to avoid any meeting with violence that they were not able to channel ordinary aggressive feelings, for example, into other areas.
