[...] The most minute cell within your brain has been made from the patterns of consciousness which we have given you. We gave you the pattern upon which you formed your entire physical universe and the comprehension that exists within each cell, the knowledge that each cell has, the desire for organization was given by us. Physically the structure of a cell retains its identity, even while the matter that composes it is continually altered. The cell rebuilds itself in line with its own pattern of identity, yet is always a part of emerging action, alive and responding even in the midst of its own multitudinous deaths.

To some extent dreams are participated in by cellular consciousness also, for the cells have an equal interest in the individual’s psychic and body events. [...]

Certain chemicals may affect dreaming by altering the cells’ reality. [...]

Certain sounds are verbal replicas of molecular constructions, put together by you to form sentences in the same way, for example, that molecules are put together to form cells and tissue.

2. Chromosomes are rod-like bodies within the cell nucleus, and carry the genes that govern hereditary characteristics. They separate lengthwise to double in number during cell division. [...]

Almost any cell has the capacity for growing into any given organ, or forming any part of the body. It has the capacity for developing sense organs that, practically speaking, will not be developed if the cell becomes an elbow or a knee, but the capacity is there. [...]

Seth’s material here reminded me of a remark he made in the 504th session, which is presented in the Appendix of The Seth Material; he was discussing the perceptions of the fetus as mediated by electromagnetic energy (EE) units: “Cells are not just responsive to light because this is the order of things, but because an emotional desire to perceive light is present.”

Without the particular plants, animals, people, or even individual cells or viruses, nature has no meaning. [...]

[...] You are alive now, a consciousness knowing itself, sparkling with cognition amid a debris of dead and dying cells; alive while the atoms and molecules of your body die and are reborn. [...]

If the cells did not die and were not replenished, the physical image would not continue to exist, so now in the present, as you know it, your consciousness flickers about your ever-changing corporeal image.

[...] You hypnotize your very nerves, and the cells within your body, for they will react as you expect them to react, and the beliefs of your conscious mind are followed in degree by all portions of the self down to the smallest atom and molecule. [...]

[...] Let it come down and fill your physical image with joy and vitality, with energy that will fill out your cells and your tissues, with energy that will heal whatever is wrong with your physical being, with energy that will straighten out your thoughts, open up the self that you know to the knowledge that belongs to you (loud) and has belonged to you before the beginning of your time. [...] They are emitted by the cells, for example, in plants, animals, rocks, and so forth.

[...] As I came out with that, I got something over here” — she gestured to her right, indicating one of the channels of information available from Seth — “about the unpredictability of consciousness, and precognition and heredity: the cell’s soul and the soul’s cell….”

[...] See the 637th session: “… think now of the life of the self as one message leaping across the nerve cells of a multidimensional structure — again, as real as your body — and consider it also as a greater ‘moment of reflection’ on the part of such a many-sided personality … I am aware that [these analogies] can make you feel small or fear for your identity. [...] You should have respect, then, for the cells of your body, the thoughts of your mind (pause), and try to understand that even the smallest of creatures shares with you the emotional experience of life’s triumphs and vulnerabilities.
