[...] In the 44th session for April 15th, 1964, I find him saying, in part, “Growth in your camouflage [physical] universe involves the taking up of more space. [...] Nor does it imply, as growth does in your camouflage universe, a sort of projection into time.

[...] If growth is one of the most necessary laws of your camouflage universe, value fulfillment corresponds to it in the inner-reality universe.”

Now it is quite possible for the advanced personalities of which I have spoken to take upon themselves the camouflage of a particular system, enter it, become for, in quotes “a time” dependent upon its rules in order to help those who dwell within it; and this has been done on occasions too countless to mention.

The well-advanced personality then is aware of nontime, but can use the time illusions of others and can enter the particular camouflage structures. [...]

You block out the realization of nontime, and accept your ideas of time along with the camouflage structure, for one is dependent upon the other. [...]

[...] Your outer ego is now experiencing the camouflage time year of 1964. [...] It is aware of such future choices simply because the camouflage future does not exist for it.

Also, I do not agree that it is beneficial for the personality to become used to dispensing so entirely with his camouflage pattern. It is necessary that the camouflage pattern be recognized for what it is, but on your plane it still must be manipulated, and the efficiency of manipulation is extremely necessary.

[...] They can only choose to operate within their own camouflage pattern framework.

[...] (Jane briefly picked up the material mentioned before the start of the session.) Since you are naturally interested in your own physical system, we will deal thoroughly with the methods by which reality turns itself into camouflage. Also, we will deal with other methods to be used by you, that will allow you to perceive more clearly the basic nature of reality (pause), in quotes “showing through” physical camouflage. [...]

[...] Jane’s trance was now deeper, her delivery more emphatic and a little stronger.) We will want to deal overall with the nature of reality as it exists within your camouflage system, as it exists in other systems, and with the overall characteristics that pertain to it, regardless of any given manifestation. [...]

[...] This will be given along with and as a part of the basic characteristics of reality, as divorced from camouflage materializations.

It is this ability which is ever a strong force on your plane, having to do with the building up of particular elements, atoms, neurons and so forth, into camouflage patterns. On your plane you must use this organizing ability to form the camouflage pattern. There are planes with much simpler camouflage patterns, and some inhabited by personalities too weak or limited in this ability, and others inhabited by personalities strong in this ability to use energy, but who no longer need to use it in such a camouflage pattern.

[...] These struggle desperately to distort the past data, clothing it in all sorts of idea camouflages and fantasy. [...]

[...] The brain would be more or less what it is, that is, the brain of the present personality existing on a camouflaged plane. [...]

[...] You will of course ask me the source of the source, and I will say again that only within the framework of your intense but limited camouflage universe does such a question have meaning or validity.

[...] The intellect must deal and interpret the realities of camouflage existence, this being its purpose.

[...] I regret, and deeply, that we must still deal with concepts in terms of words strung out one before the other, for this method serves to reinforce your idea of continuity, cause and effect, past and present, and all such camouflages that I am completely determined to put into proper place.

[...] In the past he has more or less translated this data automatically into a new camouflage pattern, in other words into a painting, without realizing that he had received any vision at all. [...]

[...] That is, Ruburt automatically translates inner data given by me into coherent, valid and faithful camouflage patterns, into words. [...]

[...] The problem is not only to receive data through the inner senses in an undistorted and coherent manner, but also of translating this data into the particular camouflage patterns with which you are familiar.

Once again (as in Note 7 for the last session), I quote Seth from the 45th session: “Any investigation of the basic inner universe, which is the only real universe, must be done as much as possible from a point outside your own distortions … To get outside your own universe, you must travel inward … Your so-called scientific, so-called objective experiments can continue for an eternity, but they will only probe further and further with camouflage [physical] instruments into a camouflage universe … The subconscious, it is true, has elements of its own distortions, but these are easier to escape than the tons of distortive camouflage atmosphere that weigh your scientific experiments down.”

[...] Space travel will be dumped when your scientists discover that space as you know it is a distortion, and that journeying from one so-called galaxy to another is done through divesting the physical body of camouflage [matter]. [...]

You are dealing with camouflage. Your outside senses are perceptors of camouflage, and your table which you rest your arms upon is not solid. [...]

This human self-consciousness existed in psychological time and in inner time long before you as a species constructed it in terms of your particular camouflage patterns. [...]

[...] The inner senses were always paramount in evolutionary development, being the impetus behind the physical formations; and themselves, through the use of mental enzymes, imprinting the data contained in the mental genes onto the physical camouflage material.

The outer senses as you know are themselves camouflage constructions, specific tools formed for a specific reason to manipulate camouflage reality. [...]

I would like here to discuss a fact about which we have spoken briefly in the past; that is, that the inner world cannot be examined with the outer senses, that indeed the main purpose of the outer senses is the interpretation of the outer or camouflage existence.

[...] The intellect, again, was also and is a means by which the inner self relates itself to the camouflage physical universe which it has itself constructed.

[...] Any true concept has its origins outside of your camouflage system and continues beyond it. [...]

[...] You make your own camouflage universe as I have told you. The growth of a disability, say the appearance of an ulcer, is the introduction of another camouflage reality to the physical body. [...]

[...] Without this sixth sense, and without its constant use by the inner self-conscious ego, you could not even construct the physical camouflage universe of your own plane. This sense, again, is used constantly beneath the outer ego’s awareness, and forms the basis for camouflage constructions on every plane.

[...] I intend to tie this in for you later with a clearer explanation as to how you on your plane form your own camouflage universe, and to elucidate on the fact that form is not rigid, though it appears to be in many cases on your own plane.

The outer ego, under such advantageous circumstances, is more nearly able also to communicate its experience in the physical world to the inner self, and hereby to actually help enlarge the inner self, which then directly experiences stimulation and manipulations in a camouflage pattern which is otherwise denied to it.

The inner self obviously needs the outer ego with its outer senses, in order to permit its own materialization in various camouflage forms. [...]

Each existence in any of many camouflage patterns trains and fulfills the inner self to develop the greatest possible fulfillment of its own qualities and characteristics. [...]

“Without this sixth sense and its constant use by the inner self, you could not construct the physical camouflage universe. [...]

I had planned to go into some material concerning this particular portrait, as a camouflage construction, but here for now I will merely mention this in passing and go into it at our next session.

[...] And I am speaking now of course of the data that is given to the organism in its affiliation with camouflage environment. [...]

[...] They are an attempt to reproduce a camouflage pattern or to approximate such a pattern. As such they make quite an effect upon your level, but they are always reassemblies and never are they the actual reappearance of the exact camouflage as it may once have existed upon your level.

[...] The outer senses provide camouflaged distortions of translated secondhanded experience.

[...] This does certainly involve a looking inward on Ruburt’s part, but it is not self-hypnosis in the terms usually spoken of, merely a focusing upon an objective inner stimulus in much the same manner that you focus upon an outside camouflage stimulus.

[...] As the vitality of the universe forms, of itself, the boundaries of the various fields of activity, and as vitality itself takes on the coloration of the various fields and forms the camouflage patterns within them, so also vitality, in the form of emotions that the camouflage patterns of the personality, even while this vitality forms both emotions and personality for every individual, every consciousness, may be thought of as a separate field of activity; and all the data relating to fields of activity may be seen to apply to any consciousness as well.

The peculiar and individualistic aspects of personality are the result of those camouflaging abilities of which we have spoken earlier. [...]

Seth’s material in those early sessions, given well over a decade ago for the most part, reflected of course his reactions to current astronomical theory about the state — and fate — of our physical (camouflage) universe. [...] But again, these ideas aren’t based on the kind of thinking Seth espouses (that consciousness comes first, that its creations are continuous), but upon other quite complicated camouflage observations and measurements. [...]

“Their time measurements, based on camouflage [physical information] to begin with, are almost riotously inadequate and bound to give distortive data, since the universe simply cannot be measured in those terms. [...]

At the beginning of Appendix 12, see the longer presentation from the 44th session for Seth’s discussion of “the value climate of psychological reality” — the “medium” that spontaneously contains within it all of our camouflage constructions of space, time, growth, and durability. [...]

5. “Disentanglement” immediately reminded me of the inner senses — those qualities and abilities which the personality uses to apprehend its physical (or camouflage) world. [...] His “Disentanglement From Camouflage” happened to be number eight on a list of nine, although the order is unimportant. [...]

“With disentanglement,” Seth stated in the 43rd session, “the inner self disengages itself from one particular camouflage before it either adopts another set smoothly or dispenses with camouflage entirely. [...]

This involves efficient, complete use of the outer senses in their perception of camouflage reality, and of joyful, effective behavior and manipulation within that field of camouflage in which you spend a certain level of your existence. [...]
