(I’ve spent perhaps one of the most uncomfortable weeks of my life, since I had the two back teeth extracted last Thursday, as noted in last week’s deleted session. I’ve learned some more about the whole situation through the pendulum, and asked Jane if Seth could comment in what I expected would be tonight’s regular session.
(Eleanor Friede visited Saturday and Sunday, as planned, and went over parts of Emir with Jane. We’ve learned that Jane doesn’t take to justifying each line of her work, so we’ll see what this means for future books with Delacorte, if any. Tam is due tomorrow afternoon, Thursday, and is bringing with him the copyedited Seven Two, as far as we know. We expect his visit to be pleasant.

(It’s now Friday morning as I finish typing the session. Tam has been here and gone, leaving the copyedited Seven Two with Jane. My mouth feels somewhat better, although still tender and somewhat swollen in the lower jaw. I still feel quite tired at times, interspersed with bouts of energetic activity. We’re kicking ideas around.
