Ruburt is particularly now ready and able to start anew, and he has already done so. It should be realized however that this starting anew is also a relative term, dependent upon other beneficial initiations that have been going on for several months, and that make this final—in this phase—start possible. (One minute pause.)

Now. Ruburt was simply kicking up a fuss last night (with Jane’s back cramps). Physically, he had begun to use muscles in a more normal manner, and to activate some muscles that he had hardly used for some time.

An unfortunate grouping of habits operating through the body are breaking up. Originally they had a purpose. It now no longer exists, but they still resent the breaking up; and Ruburt’s yells, quite involuntary, represented in fact the death throes of the symptoms, and the part of the self who had accepted them as an attempt to solve problems.

Give us a moment. (Pause, long.) The telegram impression is legitimate. The telegram may or may not be received by you, but having to do with family, yours or Ruburt’s, I am not sure. Or it will be received by one of your family or Ruburt’s. (Pause.)

The uterus (pause) impression had to do with Vivian (Crowder) I believe (pause), and Ruburt picked it up from your mother, who is not consciously aware of the knowledge. (Pause.) A harmless cyst. Perhaps six months involved here. It’s importance simply being the result of a previous operation. No danger involved.

Ruburt is doing well with the exercises (in Psycho-Cybernetics) and will improve. You may now as you like end the session or ask any questions as you prefer.

This will automatically build up Ruburt’s resources and inner psychic defenses against negative influences. We will have more to say concerning your (meaning me) symptoms at our next session, and offer specific suggestions; the exercises and the book should now help you rid yourself of these.

She did know, and so did you. Ruburt will not therefore experience another episode like last night’s. My heartiest wishes then (smile) for your joint success.
