Now. There is a point when you can take advantage of certain information, understand and perceive it. You always have the information but you must grow up to it, so to speak.

You are both at such a point now. You had both gone astray, and you are making necessary corrections. A complete overhaul was necessary of your attitudes, emotions and goals.

At your point of development now they will be extremely helpful, and do not be deceived at their seeming simplicity. This also means of course that the author does not realize much that must go on underneath before his suggested techniques will work.

It may seem to you (Jane pointed to me) that this would not be the case, and that the caution is unnecessary. A part of you, however, does strongly resent the material benefits that you did derive from your early commercial work. There is a bitterness picked up from your family, working here. It is so well hidden that it has gone almost unrecognized. This is apart from your conflicting ideas concerning success, but colors them.

Much work has been done, you see. The author does not realize how much is necessary before his methods will have the effect that he expects. You have been able to reason with your subconscious, of late, and get through to it, because with the pendulum and through our sessions we have been able to unscramble the uncertain state in which it found itself. This is the point missed by the author.

That grouping has been disintegrating since the crisis point last winter. The death of that grouping is now a fact. The body must still stabilize itself however, and consolidate its gains.
