“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(It will be recalled that I had my excellent pendulum session last Sunday, November 5, pinpointing the part I played in Jane’s symptoms. Using the pendulum each day since then, I have been surprised to note a rapid change in some inner attitudes. I wanted to know if these changes, from negative to positive, were legitimate, and possible in such a short time.

This resulted in an active resentment against such symbols, which actually prevented you from acquiring them. Although at times you would consciously want them, the hidden bitterness intruded. You know, I am sure, that if you are successful as a person and as an artist, then financial success will follow.

I am trying to tell you that you have concentrated as strongly at times in a negative manner on success symbols (pause), as others might in a positive manner to acquire them. In either case the focus upon success symbols was there. I do not believe you were aware of this. Instead of course the concentration should be upon fulfilling your abilities, all of them, and financial success will come.

Indeed, you should expect it. You were almost putting the cart before the horse, but in a negative manner. The outflow of energy, the freeing of energy, into your work, automatically is determined by a general outflow of energy through all facets of your personality, that will automatically bring many different kinds of benefits, including financial ones.

The uterus (pause) impression had to do with Vivian (Crowder) I believe (pause), and Ruburt picked it up from your mother, who is not consciously aware of the knowledge. (Pause.) A harmless cyst. Perhaps six months involved here. It’s importance simply being the result of a previous operation. No danger involved.

This will automatically build up Ruburt’s resources and inner psychic defenses against negative influences. We will have more to say concerning your (meaning me) symptoms at our next session, and offer specific suggestions; the exercises and the book should now help you rid yourself of these.

Jane was fairly well dissociated, etc. We learned about the death of Otto’s daughter Mary, on a conscious level, this week when we bought a recent book by Otto on flying saucers, and read the dedication. The book was published in March 1967. In the “old days” I drew many a comic-book story by Otto.)
