Now. (Eyes closed, smiling, Jane leaned toward Pete.) Now, my dear young man, quite innocently, you have made an early and understandable error. (Smile.) You will forgive me, for my slight amusement is also tinged with rather compassionate understanding. In the attempt to use your ability, to probe into the future, you allowed yourself to take more upon yourself than you should have.

(9:37. Jane’s delivery had been active, fast at times, with her eyes usually closed. Voice a bit stronger than usual. Pete said the back condition mentioned could apply to either his father or brother. Jane, of course, was aware of this. Resume at 9:45.)

It seems she wears something that resembles an earring about her neck (Jane gestured, as though describing something that hung about her neck and dangled to her waist), but I do not believe it is an earring.

The hair at one time a rather odd gray—a strange darkish gray. I believe a mole here (Jane touched her right cheek); though it may not be a mole but some facial characteristic here, you see. (Touch again.) A voice with a clicking sound. I believe these impressions referring to the grandmother.

(10:02. The last of the tape was used up, and the recorder turned off. Jane was a long time, comparatively, coming out of trance. She had been “way out”, she said, and felt there had been no blocking on her part at all. She felt very good about this.

(While speaking for Seth, she had a mental image of a back room, and an “impression” of a storm. She also felt she had looked at a photograph, but could not say whether of a man or a woman; perhaps an old-fashioned photo. Jane said she feels it is “her end of the deal” not to block the material.

(Jane’s words were slurred a bit, and I thought she was again in a deep trance. She was using pauses however, whereas before break she had been speaking rather rapidly.)

(10:43. Jane was again far-out, she said. Her eyes were mostly closed, her pace fairly rapid. Resume at 10:55.)

I was in touch with your Ferd, briefly. He is not yet aware of many aspects of his new condition (Jane’s voice was becoming somewhat deeper and faster), and is now learning to manipulate within it. Therefore even for us, communication was somewhat difficult, distorted and restrained. We are on different levels. We exist within the same system but within different levels of it. His periods of communication are necessarily brief, simply because he is unable at this time to utilize his energy to that direction with any effectiveness.

(Jane’s voice fairly good.) We shall not try to shatter the windows, with the volume (deeper) of our voice. Nevertheless you will know that I can indeed speak rather clearly and quite loudly when the occasion does arrive. My friends are understandably worried concerning the convenience and opinion of their neighbors, and therefore I shall not carry this insignificant display any further than I have at this point.

(Jane’s voice, while fairly strong, didn’t approach the volume and power she has displayed upon occasion.)

(11:05. Jane was again far-out, she said, and as break came she was still aware of the surging power that lay behind such voice effects. It took her longer than usual to open her eyes, etc. At break we discussed more of Pete’s questions. Resume at 11:20.)
