The session last evening was to some extent inhibited because of the emotional climate that affected our good Jesuit (Bill Gallagher). He was not at his best. We shall not encounter that difficulty this evening. This does not mean however that we shall necessarily put on any circus displays.

This is simply a matter of time and development. You will learn together. (Pause.) You are both emotionally-based individuals, and you will be open to each other’s communications, which is all to the good. Your material will come in a slightly different manner, and the psychological framework that develops about you will be of a somewhat different nature than that which exists between Ruburt and myself.

There will be a great emphasis upon certain emotionally charged impressions. This means that you will perceive certain impressions that have a particular emotionally-charged origin, more easily than you will perceive others. This is because both you and Ferd have had similar events occur in various lives, and your subjective association patterns are similar also.
