This is most important for this summer. The same sort of activity last summer could have broken Ruburt’s pattern sufficiently enough to prevent the severity of the past difficulties. You cannot afford not to take these steps. Not only this year but as a matter of course. While we are here, let me add that some sort of away-environment should be kept up as long as weather permits. This does not necessarily mean long trips.

The main and indispensable job that makes recovery possible, the all-important reversal process, has already occurred, however. Your treatments from the chiropractor for example are of benefit now, but would not have been earlier. They are a physical aid now to a process already begun.

He is making an endeavor to speak to you, not only in the resentments, but wishes. There was therefore interaction last evening when he felt resentful on a sensitive matter. He already felt he had reached a victory in approaching you after arguing with himself. He will not always be so sensitive to rebuff, you see.

Often he wanted you to approach him in intimate terms, but felt unworthy because of his condition, and because he felt that you found it distasteful, and even degrading. This set up conflict on going to bed, you see.

(Pause.) PEC… P E C… I believe, (shakes head) Pectorillin… (My phonetic interpretation). I am no medical man… Because of the psychological condition he extracted, or he used this in both whole milk and beer, in such a way that it left residues near certain joints, blocking passageways and allowing fluids to accumulate. These are now working outward normally through the system as the circulatory system becomes normally activated. There may have been a connection with salt here also, but this is past.
(See pages 47-48, for the list of foods I learned that Jane should avoid through my own pendulum. Beer and whole milk are contained in the list. My pendulum said salt was okay for Jane. I believe the chemical Seth may have been groping for is purine. I knew this word but Jane did not; nor did she understand the formation of crystals near joints because of this chemical, which could then cause swelling. The chiropractor verified this data the day after this session was held.)
The arms are responding, and as they do so then the fingers will resume their normal condition. Some yoga exercises, gently done, will now be of benefit. The peanut oil will also help the arms and loosen the neck and shoulder areas. The oil should not be kept in the refrigerator, but should be fairly warm.
