“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(For the test this evening I chose a page from my notepad. Jane and I have been trying to think of a good title for her book dealing with Seth and the material, since she has begun work on it. See the tracing on page 322. The page is on white paper, and the writing on the tracing is done with the same pen I used to make the original notes. I sealed the folded page in the usual double envelopes, also inserting two pieces of Bristol board for stiffeners. It’s our 13th envelope test.

(The session this evening was held in our back room and was quite peaceful. Jane spoke while sitting down and with her eyes closed. Her voice was average, her pace rather slow in the beginning.)

As the ego becomes certain of its strength, then it will allow the self to expand. I mentioned in our last session that the scientists did not realize that man has indeed evolved since the development of the human brain. For it has learned to form literally millions of new connections, meanings and concepts, new gestalts that have indeed made man something quite different than he was. All of these are new electromagnetic patterns which are now indelibly a part of the race.

I am keeping our date in mind, and therefore suggest a brief break.

I would like to remind Ruburt, again, that I told him that Peggy Gallagher would be of help in our sessions, long before she was a friend.

(Once again Jane considered the test a failure, and attributed it to her being upset today. As it developed we did not ask Seth for specific information on the impressions, so I do not know whether they were merely too far-ranging for our purposes, or simply errors. I saw possible connections with a few of them, and will note them for the record.

(The material on a dog reminded me that the Bristol stiffeners I enclosed tonight’s test paper in were the same two in which I had enclosed the test photo for the 11th envelope test, in the 194th session. The photo was of our dog, Mischa, now dead. It was taken several years ago or more, on a hot day in the summer; Jane was also with a man whose first initial was W on that day.

We will now end our session. My heartiest regards to you both. I believe a rather bizarre event will occur, regarding the Gallaghers, at approximately five o’clock during their vacation.
