The mass, generally speaking, is a denseness formed by the varying intensities. There are mathematical precisions and formulas here. There is a ratio between the mass, which is usually considerable, and the weight, which is barely noticeable. These electromagnetic frameworks could be considered as skeleton forms within physical matter.

You are midway here. In the future the ego and the intellect will expand sufficiently so that they can contain and use and appreciate all the other functions and portions of the self which they now mistrust. Individual identity will then expand to include a greater variety of impulses and stimuli, which do not necessarily come from the self, and yet maintain specialized identity.

(It might be interesting to note here that Peggy was hypnotized by Dr. Milton Erickson in late March of 1959, during a meeting of the Finger Lakes Clinical Hypnosis Association at the Mark Twain Hotel in Elmira. Peggy attended the meeting in her role of reporter, and volunteered as a subject. Before about twenty people Dr. Erickson put her into a deep trance quite easily, with the result that Peggy had complete amnesia for a ten-minute period.
