(Seth announced his presence as the four of us sat quietly talking, at approximately 11:45 PM. Bill and Peggy share the cost of a cottage on Seneca Lake with other members of Peggy’s family, and had been taking steps to sell the cottage this fall. Bill dislikes seeing it go, since he uses it as a base for his skin-diving expeditions in the lake, which is one of New York State’s famous Finger Lakes.

This has to do with a chest, and it is of gold. It was a religious rather than a romantic pirate’s chest. It had to do with a king, and the death of a queen, and belonged to a royal family, though they never missed it.
