(Jane sat down at about 10:30. One light was on in the living room but this bothered her, even though she sat with her back to it. I turned this light off then and turned one on in the kitchen; this cast an indirect light into the living room, enough for me to see to write.
(But this light also bothered Jane, to such an extent that within a few minutes she switched it off. This left the room lit spasmodically by the lights from passing traffic. (I had thought Seth would stay, to say something about why results had not been good, but Jane said the session was over. She was not nearly as dissociated as usual. She had felt “weird” at finding herself pacing again during delivery, when she had just become used to speaking while being seated. End at approximately 11:00.
