“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Jane had no idea of the material to be covered in the session as the time for it approached. She began dictation in a voice somewhat stronger and faster than usual. Her pacing was also faster. Once again her glasses were off, her eyes dark as usual. She smiled.)

(By now Jane was in high good humor. Her voice was still stronger than usual. She smiled often as she paced about the room at a fast rate.)

(End at 9:23. Jane was well dissociated for a first delivery, she said. She was as surprised as I was at the short session and the extra time off. We have been feeling fine; if we needed a rest from the sessions we were not aware of it. It hadn’t occurred to us to ask for any time off.)

(December 8, Tuesday, 8:30 PM: Quick full figure glimpse of Lois Williams, as she stood facing me and making a comical gesture. I then saw a gaunt blonde woman sitting in a chair, profile, facing my right, with her head tilted away from me at an angle. She was smiling. I then saw a short, dark-haired man wearing black horn-rimmed glasses. He seemed to be an Oriental. He appeared to stand right over my left eye, so that I had to “look up” to see him. He carried some kind of notepad and said something like, “Now, if I may be permitted to do it like this....”

(Also at times my body felt lighter, as though it was engaging in exploratory movement.

(December 9, Wednesday, 8:30 PM: This was a very interesting session. After achieving a good state I began to feel or sense various small “ripples” or movements while lying prone. Then abruptly I felt my whole body swing headfirst to the left, then to the right, as though horizontally pivoted at the belly. The sensation was quick but quite definite. It was followed by more, lesser feelings of movement. During this experience I had my thrilling sensation twice, to a fair degree.

(Then the central part of my body felt depressed down to bed level; I had the odd thought that I was more aware of the bed beneath my middle body than I was of the body itself. It was almost as though that part of the body wasn’t there. At the same time, my arms and hands, remaining where they were, then felt elevated. This feeling was also definite, with duration.

(When the alarm rang to end the session, my eyes opened as usual. The room was quite dark, very nearly pitch black. Yet before me I saw, like an afterimage, a symbol that Seth had described in the 84th session. It was a half arc with one crossed line diagonally, almost like an inverted cent sign. Seth stated that this small symbol, with some initials, was on a rowboat at Provincetown, MA, and that Bill Macdonnel should have seen it while he spent some weeks there. Bill has no memory of it, however.

(The symbol as I saw it appeared to be suspended in the air several feet away from me, and although the room was dark I can only say I seemed to see it in black line. Naturally, what I did see is my personal reconstruction from the data furnished by Seth.
