(December 9, Wednesday, 8:30 PM: This was a very interesting session. After achieving a good state I began to feel or sense various small “ripples” or movements while lying prone. Then abruptly I felt my whole body swing headfirst to the left, then to the right, as though horizontally pivoted at the belly. The sensation was quick but quite definite. It was followed by more, lesser feelings of movement. During this experience I had my thrilling sensation twice, to a fair degree.

(When the alarm rang to end the session, my eyes opened as usual. The room was quite dark, very nearly pitch black. Yet before me I saw, like an afterimage, a symbol that Seth had described in the 84th session. It was a half arc with one crossed line diagonally, almost like an inverted cent sign. Seth stated that this small symbol, with some initials, was on a rowboat at Provincetown, MA, and that Bill Macdonnel should have seen it while he spent some weeks there. Bill has no memory of it, however.
