I get quite carried away for one thing, and our material has been coming over so well that I quite forgot that a rest period has been due. It will not be of much duration. However, it will suffice to give you both a breather.

Even though such a period is due, I find myself jealous of missing any sessions, as you might guess, knowing me by now.

I will despite my own feeling end the session very shortly. There will be no Wednesday session, and that will be your rest period. It is not long. I had planned to give you tonight completely free, but I want to make a few points first.

It is necessary, even regardless of your physical health which is in good condition, and your mental health which is fine, it is still necessary that I give you a period of relaxation from time to time. It will probably be so for quite a while yet, but in a more distant future this will not necessarily apply.

I prefer this period to fall now rather than later in the winter for several reasons, having to do with situations relatively unimportant, and effects which I will explain later merely for your convenience.

This must be understood, for it will be the basis for further discussions of our three close universal fields. If it were not that I know better, I would jealously not give you a rest period until you requested it. Nevertheless I am aware of my responsibilities in this matter. I will expect truly excellent sessions to follow. There may be the possibility, if you request it, of one session off during the Christmas holidays, but only at your request.
