(December 8, Tuesday, 8:30 PM: Quick full figure glimpse of Lois Williams, as she stood facing me and making a comical gesture. I then saw a gaunt blonde woman sitting in a chair, profile, facing my right, with her head tilted away from me at an angle. She was smiling. I then saw a short, dark-haired man wearing black horn-rimmed glasses. He seemed to be an Oriental. He appeared to stand right over my left eye, so that I had to “look up” to see him. He carried some kind of notepad and said something like, “Now, if I may be permitted to do it like this....”

(When the alarm rang to end the session, my eyes opened as usual. The room was quite dark, very nearly pitch black. Yet before me I saw, like an afterimage, a symbol that Seth had described in the 84th session. It was a half arc with one crossed line diagonally, almost like an inverted cent sign. Seth stated that this small symbol, with some initials, was on a rowboat at Provincetown, MA, and that Bill Macdonnel should have seen it while he spent some weeks there. Bill has no memory of it, however.

(The symbol as I saw it appeared to be suspended in the air several feet away from me, and although the room was dark I can only say I seemed to see it in black line. Naturally, what I did see is my personal reconstruction from the data furnished by Seth.
