“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Just yesterday Jane received a letter from a woman who described the onset, a few years ago, of extraordinary feelings of transcendent love for mankind. Her profound emotions still continued, although she had them under control. She had told no one about them, though, and wanted to know if we could ask Seth about their meaning. In addition, she had recently received a medical verdict about the certainty of her death within a year or two.

(Aside from her sympathetic response, Jane found the letter evocative of some of her own psychic experiences, and asked me to put it in our Seth notebook for an answer — we felt that Seth’s reply would be of interest to many. For the same reason, at the end of the session [in Chapter Twelve] we’re including a local resident’s experience with a certain set of beliefs.

(Jane was tired after supper, so I didn’t ask her about having a session. Then at about 9:00 a neighbor couldn’t get her door unlocked and asked us for help. By the time this episode was resolved Jane had come alert, and surprised me by saying she wanted to hold the session. She began speaking for Seth very quietly.)

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

(11:11. But this wasn’t break after all. Instead Seth decided to relay a page of material for Jane and me before launching into Chapter Twelve. Break lasted then from 11:22 to 11:40.)

(“Thank you, Seth. Good night.”

(12:25 a.m. Seth, Jane said, was all ready to keep going if we gave the word — the rest of the chapter “was right there.” Also there for the asking was more material about ourselves, but….)
