(“Now my grandmother was on her knees, kneeling upright in the grass. I dropped to my knees before her. We greeted each other like old friends, wrapping our arms around one another as we talked, and kissed very animatedly. We were so pleased to see each other! I remember my father’s legs as he stood beside us. He was more shadowy all through the dream, however, not nearly as substantial and real as his mother was.
