I would suggest when possible that you both have a glass of wine before a session, though it is not strictly necessary. [...]

(I thought excitement from receiving the letter had as much to do with Jane’s feelings, as the beer.

(Jane’s pace was faster now, and her eyes had begun to open as she sipped some wine occasionally. [...]
