“It certainly seems that the best way to get specific answers is to ask specific questions, and the rational mind thinks first of all of something like a list of questions. In that regard, Ruburt’s response before such a session is natural, and to an extent magical, because he knows that no matter what he has been taught, he must to some degree (underlined) forget the questions and the mood that accompanies them with one level of his consciousness, in order to create the proper kind of atmosphere at another level of consciousness—one that allows the answers to come even though they may be presented in a different way than that expected by the rational mind.

(Again, Jane’s reception of these answers was not in the manner of delivery by Seth; merely that she had the answers pop into her mind.

Numbers of you are looking for a state of “peace” in which there is a static sort of bliss, with all questions forever answered and all problems solved. [...]

Your faith is the answer, and the use to which you put your creativity, for the more you apply it to Ruburt’s condition the quicker the results.

(To me, in answer, evidently, to some of our conversation before the session:) You are already writing a book—you— in Framework 2. It simply waits for the proper conditions here. [...]

(I had two questions for our portion of the session, and we expected that Seth’s answers would be included in the Appendix of his book. [...]

The one accident, in answer to your question, occurred the evening of Ruburt’s experience, and it is the one that involved your friend Bill Macdonnel.

(On June 5, 1968 John Pitre telephoned Jane from Franklin, LA, seeking answers to three questions: the reasons for John’s uneasiness concerning his wife Peg last week; the reasons for the loss of leg feeling John experiences in hot weather; and data on a pilot, Albert Blevins, who vanished on a flight in a small plane near the Gulf Coast about four years ago, presumably near Franklin.
