So that if all physical knowledge were taken from you, all the knowledge that you have learned since birth in this life, and that is impossible, but if it were possible still within you would always be the inner knowledge not only of your own private past and future, but of the private past and future of your kind and of your species. In this reality, you very nicely emphasize all the similarities which bind you together; you make a pattern of them, and you very nicely ignore all the dissimilarities. Out of a vast field of perception, you choose to focus your attention upon certain specific areas and to ignore all others, and so there is perfect agreement among you as far as this small area is concerned. The vastness that you do not perceive does not bother you at all, and you do not ask questions about it. [...]

[...] Feel the kernel of your consciousness rise as one of your seeds, higher beyond the knowledge of seasons, beyond the feeling of your days or moments, beyond the relationships of blood, beyond all those kinships which you take for granted. [...] There is no physical being with whom then you can relate; and yet, beyond this and through the isolation is a point of light that is consciousness, that pulses with the power behind all the emotions that you know and that feeds them, that sends them sparkling and tumbling down into the reality that you know. A warmth that forms the very pulse of physical existence and yet is born from the devotion of our isolation; that is born from the creativity that is beyond flesh and bone, that forms fingers without feeling fingers, that forms seasons without knowing spring, that creates sand without knowing sand or ground, that creates the reality that you know without experiencing it, that forms fathers, sons and daughters and mothers without knowing what fathers and mothers and daughters and sons are, and yet from this devotion, from that creativity comes all that you know. And all of that also has been given to us for the energy that we have is not ours alone, nor are we the source of it; for it flows through us as it flows through you. [...]

[...] Your image was an excellent one and in your terms it represents the characteristics of space as you might relate to it and also to those black pockets of which the physicists are speaking where all realities swooped into these, so to speak. [...]

Now you have all been experiencing, the regular student[s] to some degree, mobility of consciousness. [...]

The inner self is aware of all of your existences, in other words. [...] It would be impossible to be consciously aware of all of the infinitesimal details that exist in even one life; your consciousness would be so full and cluttered up that you would be unable to make choices, or to use free will.

This does not mean that all conscious knowledge about your own reincarnational existences is forever beyond you — for through various exercises you can indeed learn to recall some of that information. It does mean, however, that you are innately aware of all of your existences, and that the knowledge gained in one life is automatically transferred to another, whether that life be present, past, or future.

For one thing, again, almost all situations, including the most drastic, can be changed for the better to some extent, and the very attempt to do so can increase a person’s sense of control over his or her own circumstances. This does not mean that those adverse situations can be changed overnight in usual terms (though ideally that is also possible), but that the sense of control over one’s life encourages all of the mental and physical healing properties.

This is your reality, accept it or hide within all concepts. [...] These secrets, as our friend here told Ruburt, that you have told in class, that have had such weight to some of you, how dare any of you hold these secrets up between yourselves and All That Is and the experience that is waiting for you and available? [...] For all of these issues are related, and the movement of your thought is as lively as the movement of any molecule and far more powerful. [...]

[...] There is nothing wrong with concepts at all as long as you do not use them as hiding places or as steps of security from which you will not leap, one into the other. [...] Life bursts apart in all directions as consciousness does and explodes in all probable directions. [...]

[...] Therefore, it behooves all of you, on a part of all that you are, to expect the best of yourselves and the best of those with whom you are in contact. [...] And remember, all of you, again, I am not speaking in terms of self-sacrifice. [...]

All depth, all dimension and all distance is therein contained within the electrical universe. [...] And all reality within any given field basically occurs within such intensities.

What I have been telling you this evening, and my discussions in all our sessions, all my comments, have been concerned with basic and simple facts, not alien to mankind’s nature, but more intimate to him than touch. [...]

[...] However Ruburt would not take it kindly, and I am after all in his debt to some degree. My heartiest wishes to all of you. [...]

[...] In all cases faith is involved, and the feeling that all in all the means will come or be given. [...]

In areas of conflict, you have to learn to do this consciously while in areas of success you have done it unconsciously all along. [...] Their motion is all connected, of course. [...]

It is impossible to be consciously aware of all such motions. [...] If you concentrate upon the improvements you will see that some sensations that at first appear uncomfortable are not detrimental at all, but a part of the body’s recovery. [...]

In the systems in which evolution of consciousness has worked in that fashion, all faculties of body and mind in one “lifetime” are beautifully utilized. [...] There are physical variations of a sexual nature, so that on all levels identity includes the male and female. Shadows of all such probabilities appear within your own system, as oddities. [...]

The point of all this is that these units are unpredictable, and fulfill all probabilities of consciousness. [...] You view the fantastic variety of physical life — its animals, insects, birds, fish, man and all his works — with hardly a qualm; yet you must understand that the nature of consciousness itself is far more varied, and you must learn to think of an inner reality that is as infinite as the exterior one. [...]

3. A note added later: I found most of the material Seth had delivered since 10:11, but especially at this point, to be strongly reminiscent of a passage in the 657th session in Chapter 15 of Personal Reality. I’ve put together these excerpts from that session: “Each of your reincarnational selves has its own ‘points of power,’ or successive moments, in which it materializes daily existence in a linear manner from all the probabilities available to it. In a way that will be explained in another book, there is a kind of coincidence with all of these present points of power that exists between you and your ‘reincarnational’ selves. There is a constant interaction in this multidimensional point of power, therefore, so that in your terms, one incarnated self draws from all of the others what abilities it wants. [...]

The smallest unit of pure energy, therefore, weighing nothing in your terms, containing within itself no mass, would hold within its own nature the propensity for the creation of matter in all of its forms, the impetus to create all possible universes. In those terms, energy cannot be considered without bringing to the forefront questions concerning the nature of God or All That Is, for the terms are synonymous.

Pure energy, or any “portion” of it, contains within itself the creative propensity toward individuation, so that within any given portion all individually conscious life is implied, created, sustained. [...] For that matter, despite all appearances, the physical universe was not born through some explosion of energy which is being dispersed, but is everywhere being created at all of its points “at each moment.”

(Pause at 10:23.) All of the elements of physical experience at any given time are present in the dream state. [...] But in the dream state, then as now, all such issues were contemporary, acting as models from which the species then chose the practical events that formed its physical experience.

It has many realities, forming all universes and all fields. [...] It is above all never static and never completed.

It is the vitality of the universe, and all universes, which causes the electrical reality, and the vitality of the universe, composing everything that is, cannot be touched. [...] This vitality is the most immediate and intimate aspect that composes the camouflage appearance within all fields. [...]

[...] For behind even this electrical universe there is a reality which cannot be explored in terms of speech; for all consciousness, while having an electric reality, has a reality beyond even this.

[...] She agreed that we should get all the information on them that was possible.

[...] And despite your joint negativism, and your joint distrust of improvements, and your joint insistence upon ignoring any improvements noted by Ruburt as ludicrously insignificant in the face of what was needed—in spite of all of that, the body has kept up its own struggle.

[...] Only a small, minute alteration in any ligament or muscle affects all others. [...]

[...] You pick up broadcasts from all over, and literally on a million stations. The world mind needs all of that information in order to produce continuous world events. [...] The world mind, then, in your terms, could not be conscious all at one time, and the varying graduated waking-sleeping patterns—the overlapping between the extremes you mention—provide overall balance and allow for smooth communications of an inner kind.

First of all, there are rhythms of consciousness. It is almost true to say that your species could not survive if all of its members were awake at any given time.

Inner cooperation is maintained on the part of people in opposite portions of the world—methods that could not be utilized if all woke or slept at the same time. This hardly seems of ordinary interest at all, yet preplans for battles, for example, have been received in sleep states, in which an enemy in a far country planned an invasion and the signals were received through the world’s internal network of communication.

It is all very well for monks to utilize astral projection. It is all very well for them to skitter through space as if they were on pogo sticks; their knowledge is fundamental and good. [...]

Fulfillment, value fulfillment, implies fulfillment of all abilities and all potentials, including quite physical potentials. [...]

[...] All of us were in very good humor, including Seth; the session as it continued reflected this, and a rapid-fire exchange resulted in which Jane was in and out of trance at the wink of an eye, so to speak. [...] She said later that it was no effort at all.

[...] In all of this probabilities are involved, so in all points of the past he touched points of probable healings. [...]

[...] All of the power of your being is mobilized by your will, and your will makes its deductions according to your beliefs about reality. [...]

When that challenge was met he used his will and mobilized all of his power to fulfill his abilities, and to bring about conditions in which he hoped Joseph could also fulfill his. [...]

[...] Any one action in your life is taken in context with all of the other events from your birth to your death. [...] Yet unconsciously you may have tried out and discarded all of those, even though you have no memory of such experiences. [...]

[...] In man, the psychic-physical structure has at every moment a complete up-to-date picture of pertinent information about all events that will in any way affect the organism. All actions are taken with this information available. [...]

[...] They are information-gathering processes, however, containing codified electromagnetic properties that slip between all of your devices. The atoms and molecules and all of the seemingly smaller “particles” within them are, again, information-carrying processes, and upon them depends your entire interpretation of the nature of events.

Write down or enumerate all of your known physical and mental abilities, whether they have been developed or not, and all of those inclinations toward particular activities — even those only remotely considered — as well as those that have come at all vividly to mind.

[...] Within your own subjective reality are traces of all those roads not taken, those abilities not used. [...]

If the picture were magically centered, then all “time” would be seen to flow out from the instant moment⁴ of perception, the private now; and in many ways the mass now, or mass perception, represents the overall now-point of your planet. From that now, “time” goes out in all probable directions. Actually it also goes inward in all probable directions.

To his way of thinking he cut out all excess baggage, so he had a spare diet, physically speaking … The power of his will is amazingly strong. [...] In all of this probabilities are involved, so in all moments of the past he touched points of probable healings.¹¹ No one can be healed against his or her will. [...]

In a manner of speaking, however, all of the other programs are “latent” in the one you are watching. There are coordinates that unite them all. [...]

(“But now where’s all that stuff I was picking up from Seth today?” she demanded. [...] So after all this time she still preferred to know in advance what was coming up in a session.

[...] “That’s what shits me—and here last night and this morning I was getting it all so clearly.” [...] So something was there after all. [...]

[...] If a man had wanted—I am sorry: if God had wanted all men to be rich, he would have them all born in castles. [...]

[...] Dineen believed that other people acted oddly toward her because they had all been hypnotized into doing so. [...] All of this may sound exotic to some of you, and be only too real to others, but any time that you assign elements of your experience to exterior sources, you are really doing the same thing that Dineen did.

[...] This psychic region will be protected at all costs, and here there is indeed immunity from all disease or lack. [...]

(11:23.) For all practical purposes the ill are put into prison. [...] All of this applies quite apart from any other dehumanizing effects, such as overcrowded conditions, the denial of human privacy, and often the negation of dignity.
