(At 9:45 she told me to get the Seth notebook, that we might have a session after all. [...] She thought Seth’s entity might be looking us over. [...]

[...] She didn’t necessarily feel Seth around, but could have held a session, she said. [...]

(Jane wanted material from Seth tonight on her “blues”—the mixed emotions and conflicts she feels at times when waking from her afternoon naps. [...]

(Much louder, and with humor:) You can always write a note that says “Seth said go away.”

(For several days now I’d been thinking about a remark of Seth’s in one of the earliest of this group of sessions, to the effect that Jane’s symptoms would get worse before they got better as we tried to cope with them. [...]

(“But it’s the same old story,” I told Jane when I asked that she have a session tonight, to deal with her hands and arms, and Seth’s remark. [...]

[...] The session had been excellent—so excellent that I’d felt like interjecting many questions as Seth preceded along: one of those times when I had a hard time not injecting myself, with my own impatience, into the session. [...]

(Earlier today I’d asked Jane if Seth would comment on my chest symptoms, re causes that I’d arrived at through using the pendulum. [...]

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

(We’d thought that Seth might refer to them in the session for last Monday, but none was held because once again Jane was so relaxed on the couch after supper. [...]

(“Thank you very much, Seth.”)

(“Good evening, Seth.”)

(“Thank you, Seth, and good night.” [...]

[...] Seth now delivered five minutes of material for Jane, and closed the session at 11:46 P.M.
