[...] You do operate simultaneously within all levels of reality and if you become familiar with various coordinates, the self that you know could become aware of your own other existences.

[...] There are connections between an individual and his photograph, and there are connections between the physical individual and the inner self, but the person must recognize the image in the photograph, for it will not recognize him.

[...] The very nature of our sessions should show you that self-structures are indeed transparent, and communications can flow through them.

He thought of that term before our Framework 1 and 2 material, and his idea was that the impulses came from a part of the self that automatically knew the entire picture of the self’s environment and potentials. He was quite correct, for those impulses arise from the larger self’s immersion in Framework 2, and those impulses led Ruburt to his intuitive inspirations, experiences of psychic events, and to the books. [...] There is a rhythm to such programs, however, and it is natural for the self to rouse at certain times, begin such activity, then apparently (underlined) discard them.

Left alone, the self knows how to utilize such rhythms. [...]

As it naturally occurs to him, Ruburt should read over material he has of the Sinful Self, and it will with its own rhythm lead toward further therapeutic adjustments. [...]

We are back to self-disapproval, of course, but I want you to understand that while self-disapproval is a problem for most people in your society, it is a problem for the artist particularly, because it is the artist who must trust himself or herself most of all, and it is the artist who must often have no other approval to count upon. 2. Seth, in the 683rd session for Volume 1: “Reincarnation simply represents probabilities in a time context (underlined) — portions of the self that are materialized in historical contexts.”

In the past, when Seth told me to trust the spontaneous self, I said “Okay,” and imagined some hypothetical inner self somehow apart from my conscious intents. [...] This distant-seeming inner self wasn’t so distant after all; “it” communicated through my impulses. [...]

[...] Those theories, along with religion’s belief in the flawed self, have left their marks on all of our lives. [...]

[...] A very significant sentence:) The entire structure of fears, of course, is based upon a belief in the sinful self and the sinful nature of the self’s expression. [...]

(Last Thursday I finished the final pen-and-ink drawing of the 40 I’d planned for Jane’s book of poetry, Dialogues of the Soul and Mortal Self in Time.¹ I spent Friday checking the batch, then on Saturday morning I mailed them to Tam Mossman, Jane’s editor at Prentice-Hall. [...]

In the last few sentences there is an intuitive “definition” of probable and reincarnational selves, and counterparts, in relationship to the self that you know. [...]

[...] He must feel free to let himself go free of limiting concepts, but he must see, the self that he is now, that certain ideas that he considered important and basic collected limitations about them. [...]

For one thing the self is usually thought of in terms of existence only within one particular time sequence pattern. [...] Since there is actually only a spacious present this means that the self is rooted both in the past and in the future, using your terms.

The overall efficiency of the inner self, or prime identity, is best displayed of course when it adopts an ego that mirrors its own characteristics and intents as closely as possible. [...]

The whole self or identity is aware of the experiences of all the egos, and since one identity forms these egos there is bound to be some similarities between them, and characteristics. [...]

There is simply the simultaneous expression of a prime identity or inner self within the physical system. [...]

[...] You will be so convinced that your projection (onto others) is the enemy that there will be no slack to take up, for all of your feelings of self-hate or self-fear will be directed outward.
