(November 12, Thursday: 15 minutes; merely a light feeling.

(On Friday, November 4, Jane called about a job teaching nursery school at the JCC. She was given an appointment with Mr. Miller for Tuesday, November 8, by Gladys Austin. On November 8, Gladys wrote out the memo slip used as object, bearing the name of Mrs. Methinitus, another teacher with whom Jane would work. [...] Jane met Nancy Methinitus on Wednesday, November 9, and began teaching Monday, November 14 at the JCC. [...]

[...] It was written by Gladys Austin on November 8, at a time when she was not feeling well. [...] Jane remembers that Gladys also worked the weekend following—November 12-13, and then took Monday, November 14, off because of fatigue.

[...] Jane said this refers either to her trial run on November 9, or her first formal day at school on November 14. [...]

(It’s actually November 8 as I type these notes, and I have not only the material for November 2 to present, but also that for the sessions for November 7 and November 8. Situations change so rapidly that material that’s a week old almost seems out of date, or superceded, but I want to show our thinking for November 2 just as much as for this morning, November 8. So although that “old” material for November 2 seems somewhat dated already, I’ll present it here just as though a session had been held on that date:

NOVEMBER 2, 1982 8:55 PM TUESDAY

[...] In her letter of November 12 Jane asked A.J. a few questions about The Five. A.J. replied on November 22, stating that before he could answer Jane’s questions he would like Seth’s answers to three questions: “When was the last time you grew up?”, “What do you love?”, and “When is the self born?”

(On Tuesday, November 24, we had as dinner guests Dee and Joe Masters. [...]

[...] Before the session I asked if Seth would discuss the Time Magazine cover story about Richard Bach in the November 13th issue, published November 6; and the various predictions made re sales, etc., in the recent deleted sessions.)

NOVEMBER 15, 1972 11:35 PM WEDNESDAY

(Trying psychological time for fifteen minutes on Tuesday, November 17, and Wednesday, November 18, Jane achieved an excellent state on each day.

(November 19, Thursday, 8:30 PM: Mild thrilling sensation upon lying down. [...] She achieved a much greater degree, however, as when she attempted to travel psychically and ended up in her trance of November 4, 1964. [...]

NOVEMBER 18, 1964 9 PM WEDNESDAY AS SCHEDULED

(I shouldn’t have been surprised last evening to hear Seth say that such an impetus had triggered Jane’s Sumari abilities, for today, when I reread the 598th session for November 24, 1971, I was reminded that he’d said the same thing then. The death of the student’s father had taken place on Thursday, November 11 of that year; Jane’s father, Delmer, died without forewarning on the following Tuesday, November 16; Jane came through with Sumari in class one week later, on November 23; and the next night, in the 598th session, Seth discussed Sumari for the first time.

(Story appeared actually on November 6, 1972—Monday. Dated November 13.)

[...] It grew out of the last deleted session for November 24, 1972. It very well answers the attempts Jane and I have been making to integrate the session for November 24, and the 367th session for October 1, 1967.

(Notes: Richard Bach and Eleanor Friede called Jane Monday afternoon, November 27, from Bridgehampton, Long Island, before Dick flew back to Carmel, California, and I read this copy to them. Jane then mailed a typed copy of the data for Dick to his California address Tuesday morning, November 28.

NOVEMBER 26, 1972 8:10 PM SUNDAY

(“Early November or late October.” The object was torn from page 11/12 of the New York Times for November 6,1966. The object also contains references to the election day sales due November 9.

[...] This was on October 26,1966, Wednesday, and predicted for November 2, the following Wednesday. On November 7, Jane was notified that she would not get the job.

[...] It can be seen that election day sales are mentioned in large type on both sides of page 11 and 12 of the New York Times for November 6,1966. The New York State elections were due the next Tuesday, November 8, and included the governorship contest.

(Thursday, November 12, 7 AM: This morning, again while dressing for work, I had an experience very similar to the one of Tuesday, November 3. This time I did not have a clear-cut thought that I should look out my studio windows. [...]
