“Seth material” search engine (Jane Roberts)

(Two sets of witnesses did attend tonight’s unplanned session, the Gallaghers and Marilyn and Don Wilbur. Jane began speaking as Seth at 11:45 PM, continued until about 12:15 AM, took a break during which the Gallaghers left, then resumed briefly, from about 12:30 to 12:45 AM with the Wilburs present. [...]

(It can be said that since the Gallaghers and the Wilburs both know of the sessions, and that they visit us regularly, an unscheduled session is hardly unusual with these two sets of witnesses. [...]

[...] Earlier in the evening Bill Gallagher spent perhaps three-quarters of an hour contemplating the oil painting of an elderly man which I executed in July 1965. [...]

(As stated before, the Gallaghers leave for a vacation in Puerto Rico next week; the four of us have planned some clairvoyant tests. Perhaps Seth will be able to tune in on the bizarre event involving the Gallaghers before they return home.

I would like to remind Ruburt, again, that I told him that Peggy Gallagher would be of help in our sessions, long before she was a friend.

RESULTS OF THE GALLAGHER TEST
SESSION 295 OCTOBER 19, 1966 9 PM WEDNESDAY

(See the notes on page 120, dealing with the data in Peggy Gallagher’s test, concerning a misplaced pocketbook of the shoulder variety. As stated, Jane at the time of the Gallagher test said she believed this information did not refer to Peggy. [...]

[...] If this information was misplaced in the earlier Gallagher material, then what accounts for it? It appeared in the Gallagher material before the envelope test was held, and of course Jane could not know what the envelope test object was beforehand, by ordinary means. [...]

[...] We have now obtained a written detailed report on Peggy Gallagher’s trip to Washington, as compared to Seth’s material on Peggy in the last two sessions. [...] The material will be incorporated in a very early session, along with the material on the Gallagher’s Puerto Rico vacation of last October. [...]

[...] “This may be your friend Gallagher, or your friend Mark, for the first name would seem to be William.” [...] As far as we know, neither Bill Gallagher or Bill Macdonnel (Mark) are involved with the object. [...]

[...] The first was on Friday evening, December 23,1966, at the home of the Gallaghers, with the four of us present. [...]

This may be your friend Gallagher, or your friend Mark, for the first name would seem to be William. [...]

(Lorraine Shafer and Bill and Peggy Gallagher were witnesses for the session. Lorraine has witnessed the 144th and 162nd sessions, the Gallaghers the 158th, 161st and 162nd sessions.

I mentioned if you recall Peggy Gallagher last year; and the couple, I knew, had peculiar abilities that would help us here.

(We discussed with the Gallaghers the material given on dream therapy in sessions 172-74. Bill Gallagher also wondered about using suggestion even in working out problems connected with a hobby. [...]

(Bill and Peggy Gallagher were again witnesses. [...]

[...] And as Bill Gallagher pointed out, they probably heard the deep Seth voice while in the hall outside our door; upon admittance they saw no one with which to identify such a voice. [...]

(Remembering her success in clairvoyantly tuning in on Bill Gallagher as he made his business errands on the evening of October 8, Jane decided to try the same thing with John on Tuesday. [...] See Session 196 in Volume 4 for the Gallagher material.

(I planned no envelope test for this session, thinking that the test material on the Gallaghers in Puerto Rico, and on Dr. Instream, would be enough for one session. [...]

(We have not heard from the Gallaghers, incidentally, and do not expect to. [...]

(I do not know if our attitude toward this type of thing is too rigid; that is, if it would seem so to others; the Gallaghers, for instance. [...] Certainly on occasion I think it would be perfectly okay with Gallaghers, for instance, to try to see what I could pick up. [...]

(When Bill and Peg Gallagher arrived, about nine, I drank two cups of strong coffee, rather than the wine that everyone else drank; so it must have been 10:30 or so before I had a glass of wine. [...]

(I don’t believe the performance would have taken place either if I didn’t feel basically protected—with Rob of course; and also knowing I would trust the Gallaghers implicitly. [...]

(Peggy Gallagher, a feature writer for the Elmira Star-Gazette, is in Washington DC for a few days this week on business. [...] Both of these methods were used with some success during the Gallaghers’ vacation in Puerto Rico last October.

(Seth’s favorite name for Peggy Gallagher is the cat lover, since Peg is afraid of cats; and he likes to call Bill Gallagher the Jesuit, because of his never-ending questions.)

(We thought it might be time now for Seth to give some data on Peggy Gallagher and her activities in Washington, DC, since in giving the data on the Gallaghers in Puerto Rico last October, he had done so at 9:30 in each session. [...]

(She also had impressions of Bill Gallagher, and a man named Tom whom she could not pinpoint further. She finally became so uneasy that she called the Gallagher residence. [...]

[...] Since this was Monday, and any possible event was predicted for a Tuesday, Jane decided to try again to reach the Gallaghers. [...]

[...] Jane was much relieved after talking to Peg, saying that before the call she had been “very uptight” over any probabilities involving accidents and the Gallaghers.

[...] At the table were Bill Gallagher, with beside him Pat Norelli. [...] The pressure finally reached the point where Bill Gallagher could not force the third table leg back to the floor. [...]

[...] Claire Crittenden, Carl Watkins, Jane and I, along with Pat Norelli, from Boston, were joined by Bill and Peg Gallagher,Doug Hicks, Danny Stimmerman, Curt Kent and Peg’s brother Dick and his wife Carol, for an even dozen present, at our apartment.

[...] I personally witnessed Bill Gallagher pushing heavily down upon the resisting table a few seconds before it broke. [...]

[...] Your friends the Gallaghers inhibit their subjective natures strongly, both of them (as I was speculating about the other day). [...]

The Gallaghers trust spontaneity only when it is expressed through physical motion. [...]

[...] A possible reference: M for Marilyn Wilbur, wife of the young Don Wilbur shown on the object; and G for the Gallaghers. The Wilburs and Gallaghers being present that Friday night, November 25,1966.

[...] Possibly Leonard’s name arose here because of the earlier newspaper data which calls the Gallaghers to mind. [...] His name may have arisen in this data however through distortion, since it would appear the Gallaghers have a more direct newspaper connection with the object, through me.

[...] The Gallaghers were also present. [...]

(Then as I was fixing the tray for lunch, Peggy Gallagher, our friend who is a reporter for the Elmira Star-Gazette, visited and stayed through most of the meal. [...]

One point I wanted to mention: Peggy Gallagher telepathically picked up your moods, and felt the impetus to visit.
