(In addition, Miss Callahan is the only person we have located who taught Frank Watts’ children in grade and high school; Frank Watts was the first personality Jane contacted in these sessions and was soon replaced by Seth. According to Seth Frank Watts had a high regard for Miss Callahan as a person and as a teacher. Miss Callahan however, cannot remember Frank Watts; only that she taught some “Watts children”. [...]

[...] Frank Watts, it will be remembered, was our communicator; the present Seth entity did not announce his presence until the 4th session, when he superseded Frank Watts.

(In the 3rd session, December 6,1963, Frank Watts told Jane and me that we had lived lives in Mesopotamia, our first, in the 4th century BC. Frank Watts and I were females, Jane was a male, our brother, and his name was Seth.

[...] Nevertheless it is a valid representation and if I must say so myself, and that’s a pun, the voice is very much like the voice I would use, though Frank had a different one.

(“You mean Frank Watts, of course.”)

I mean Frank Watts. [...]

(“Seth, how much of that material Frank Watts gave us in the first sessions was distorted?”)

[...] Seth had spoken jovially but not maliciously about Frank Withers. [...] On the other hand, you knew me before I knew Frank Withers, and my vanity then was astounding. [...]

[...] Now and then old Frank Withers comes through simply because he was the latest independent materialization and is used to taking things upon himself. [...]

(This noon Frank Longwell visited briefly, and agreed to take down the damaged Chinese elms in the back yard, till the soil, and put in wild flowers. [...]

[...] My eye troubles started the same spring that Seth started dictating it; I was doing James; Frank L. was building the porches; and the Gallery of Silence people were bugging us. [...]

In the 4th session for December 8, 1963, the personality Jane and I had been contacting through the Ouija board, Frank Withers, spelled out with the board’s pointer the message that he preferred to be called Seth—and Seth it’s been ever since. Shortly before he announced himself as Seth, I’d asked Frank Withers if people were ever “reborn as animals.” [...] Frank Withers would not give us the location of this dog: “No.”

[...] We made contact with Frank Watts in that session. [...]

[...] I realize that your Frank Watts introduction is a year off, and hope that you both understand how much you have learned and how much you have progressed. [...]

[...] Frank’s diagnosis of the beneficial changes in muscles, ligaments and strength, is quite accurate, though even he is unable to deduce such other deeper changes.

[...] You would do much better by being frank with him, for he becomes irritated and resentful when he feel you are upset, and is left to guess at the cause. [...]

Frank can say to Ruburt (Frank called Jane a “tough little bird”—which she liked), “Truly, your legs can straighten. [...]

(It happened shortly after Frank Longwell’s visit at lunchtime, during which we discussed a new arrangement for the stove/cooking area of the kitchen. [...] Then the day after this session was held, Frank returned at noon with literature on what stove units are available, prices, et cetera, so the discussion proceeded further.)

Quite frankly, I believe that normal dreams are the outside shell of deeper inside experience. [...]

Seth emphasized that for his own reasons, Frank did not want a marriage relationship, and ended by telling Doris that she had chosen him for this reason—that she never saw the man as he was, but only the image she had projected upon him. He gave Frank’s name in a past life as Achman incidentally, and much later Doris learned that his present family has an Achman branch.

“Well, then why doesn’t Frank [not his real name] date and have ordinary relationships with women? [...]

[...] Your Frank, as their sister, disclosed their hiding place in a cellar beneath an old inn. [...]

Seth went on to say that in this life, Frank chose to return as the son of the two brothers who themselves are now man and wife. [...]

[...] Frank Longwell cited a case whereby his brother Waldo obtained encouraging answers to a set of business problems that had been bugging the Longwells for some time. [...]

Frank’s experience concerning his brother is a case in point. [...]

I certainly, most certainly, admire your interest and concern with Frank Watts. [...] Frank Watts is aware now of Miss Callahan’s condition, and he will be there to greet her, to her surprise, since our Frank always considered himself a friend of hers, although she was scarcely aware of his existence.

(“Does Frank Watts know yet about what is happening to Miss Callahan now?”)

(Then Frank Longwell visited—he brought Jane an azalea plant, a beautiful thing. [...] Frank looked better, has put on weight. [...]

[...] This will also encourage him as the two of you quite freely discuss all aspects, and he will not harbor worries that he can speak frankly in the context of the conversation.

[...] While they are here in this room now, frankly, they were not friendly at that time. [...]
